Happy to have found this charming hotel. We had a wonderful stay. Convienent location. Easy walk to Metro and bus lines. Lobby coffee was great and the lady at the front desk was awesome. I appreciate the vintage charm and character the hotel is preserving. Things like the open elevator in the middle of the stairwell and actual keys for your room! Be advised... This building was built before the modern day obesity epidemic that we face today. Larger people will have issues with smaller bathrooms or elevator.

Cozy place with delicious breakfast (still dreaming about the eggs) in perfect location. Direct connection with CDG Airport and all Parisian must-sees. With that being said, the abosulote best thing about this place is the staff! THANK YOU Yusef for all the honey teas, aspirine and onion soup delivery. This man deserves a raise for his above and beyond customer service and care! As a travel agent myself I cannot recommend you this place enough. Worth every penny!

STOLEN SHOE

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights, and I must share a negative experience that overshadowed my stay. On the afternoon of my second day, I informed the front desk that one of my shoes (yes, just one) had gone missing from my room. I showed photographic evidence to the staff proving that I had brought that shoe with me to Paris.

In the morning, before leaving the room, I had neatly arranged all my pairs of shoes. When I returned in the afternoon, I noticed that one of them was missing. The room had been cleaned by housekeeping, and everything was in order—except for the missing shoe, which was clearly no longer where I had left it.

The first receptionist I spoke with said he would check the trash, and we discussed the possibility that the shoe might have been taken by mistake with the bed linens. However, he also said he wouldn’t look through the laundry bags because of the amount. Later, he contradicted himself by claiming the sheets had not been changed. Towels, however, were taken, which could also have caused the disappearance. Even though I insisted that the laundry bags be checked, he showed no real willingness to help. He even implied that I might have forgotten the shoe at home, which I find disrespectful.

The morning receptionist, Charles, was very kind throughout my stay. He was helpful and told me he had checked the laundry bags himself, though unfortunately without success. On the day of my checkout, he also allowed me to store my luggage until it was time to head to the airport, for which I am truly grateful.

The hotel itself is small but serves its basic purpose. However, the poor handling of this incident—not finding my shoe, not offering any alternative or solution, and the initial lack of responsibility—left me with a very negative impression. There was no follow-up, not even a formal apology or a compensation offer from management.

I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

05/08/25 UPDATE: No one ever contacted me or apologized. DO NOT GO...

I don’t normally leave bad reviews or complain about customer service but I feel I have to say something about this hotel. Unfortunately I had to cancel my stay because my partner and I caught Covid and tested positive the day we were supposed to travel. ||The hotel charged me the full price of my stay anyway. I have asked them for a refund but have not received a response. When I made the booking, the hotel responded to me very quickly (within hours), but since I cancelled I have not heard from them at all. I have emailed them more than ten times, with no response.||I’m not asking for a refund now. All I want now is for a reply to confirm they will not refund me so I can claim it on my insurance and not be out of pocket and I have said this in my emails. It is extremely rude and bad customer service, and is quite heartless during this cost of living crisis, to not even allow for that. We saved a long time for this trip and it would have been the first time we were able to travel in four years due to the pandemic and money.||We had hotels booked in several places throughout three countries in Europe, which I had to cancel - this hotel is the only one which has responded in this way. |Other hotels charged me due to a policy of charging if cancelled within a certain amount of time and I understand this because they responded to me. We will be rearranging our trip and this will be the only hotel I will make sure I steer clear of. ||So while I can’t comment on the quality of the hotel, I can say that the customer service is terrible; if you are forced to cancel, you will be charged full price and will be unable to elicit a response from the hotel. It has made a situation which has already been stressful due to sickness and loss of money and loss of the first holiday in four years even more stressful. ||There is a human at the end of the email and ignoring them because it no longer benefits you to reply can have more of an impact than you...
