This is the second time I went into that restaurant and it was the same result: first, after ordering our dishes, we waited a good 45 minutes before being served. Then I did not finish my dish because of the quality of the food, for sure at a hundred percent, food was not from the day nor fresh at all. I had the “Tree di sapori”, so eggplant lasagna, spinach calenelloni and an arancini. No word but disgusting really: arancini smelt and tasted rotten, hard when cutting it with the knife and rice was also hard when eating it so for sure not from the day and I can even say it was from several day. The lasagna and the calenolli were the same, to be fair I am pretty sure the calenolli were thawed, it was filled with a doughy and pasty mix of cream (ricotta?) and spinach. I did not eat my dish and I told the waitress what I have described here above. When asking the bill, they did not propose me any discount, nothing. I asked for it as I had eat nothing, the waitress told me to wait in order to ask her boss, and she came back telling us they offer the bottle of water.

To conclude, I do not recommend that restaurant at all: the first time I went there it was pretty much the same feeling I had. I do not understand people saying it’s a great italian restaurant at all. There are many other good Italian restaurants in Strasbourg, much better than that one. I think the location of that restaurant help it to get clients as it is located very close to the city...

Nous sommes venues avec deux amies dîner dans ce restaurant le soir du nouvel an. Pour résumer, nous avons passé une mauvaise soirée ! En effet, nous avions réservé quelques semaines en avance pour le repas du 31 au soir. Ne venant pas de Strasbourg, nous avions remarqué les bons avis de ce restaurant et avions donc décidé d'y passer. A la réservation, rien n'a été précisé mis à part le fait de payer un acompte avant le jour J, chose faite. En arrivant le Jour J, à l'heure de la réservation soit 20h30, on nous a placé sur une table en hauteur, dans un coin sombre du restaurant. Par la suite, on nous a emmené notre verre d'apéritif puis l'entrée. Entrée qui envoyait du rêve : tartare de homard aux agrumes. Au final, on se retrouve avec une salade iceberg digne d'un fast food avec un morceau de gambas cuite peut-être ? On ne sait pas vraiment... L'une d'entre nous ne mangeant pas de cru, avait demandé à adapter son entrée : elle se retrouve avec des tomates/mozza - clairement pas de saison et surtout, pour un restaurant italien, une mozza ressemblant plus à du plastique qu'à un fromage. Passons ! Les plats arrivent : un filet de bœuf à l'italienne farci au gorgonzola avec un écrasé de pdt à la truffe. Le plat n'était pas si mauvais cependant les cuissons des viandes n'ont pas été respectées... Puis le dessert arrive... tout ça en 45 minutes top chrono ! Ne comprenant pas le timing, nous avons demandé s'il y avait un horaire de sortie à respecter car nous n'avions pas le temps de manger qu'un ou même plusieurs serveurs venaient pour nous demander si nous avions terminé alors que ça se voyait : nous venions de commencer ! On nous a répondu que oui, nous devions avoir terminé à 23h maximum. Ah ! Grande nouvelle, nous pensions passer 00h au restaurant mais personne nous a prévenu jusqu'ici ! Une chose est sure : si cette information avait été connue d'avance, nous ne serions pas venues dans ce restaurant ! Bref, on nous a pressé toute la soirée ! Pour revenir au dessert, nous devions avoir biscuit macaron, crème diplomate, mascarpone et framboises mais... ce n'était pas vraiment le cas. A la place : un biscuit mou, pas de goût et une crème autre que diplomate ! Nous devions avoir une boisson chaude (comprise dans le prix payé) que nous n'avons pas eu car nous devions sortir du restaurant à 23h maximum ! Au moment de payer nous avons donc demandé de déduire le prix de la boisson chaude du prix global, chose qui nous a été refusée. Nous avons du régler un montant 85 euros, montant beaucoup trop cher par rapport à la qualité des plats mais aussi par rapport au service ! Nous déconseillons donc vivement ce restaurant : mauvais accueil, plats peu qualitatifs pour un repas du nouvel an et décor très sombre. Nous avons été très déçues car nous nous attendions à autre chose ! Bon courage aux prochains...

Ordered the burrata salad, linguine vongole and fettuccine frutti di mari. The burrata and cherry tomatoes were good but the iceberg lettuce that made up the majority of the salad was a waste of time—they should have carried on with the arugula (there were a few leaves) instead. The linguini vongole was pretty decent. However the fettuccini was terrible—the pasta was overcooked as was the shrimp. The meal could have been redeemed had the wait staff come by to ask how “how are your first few bites” but that is not a French thing, so they kept walking by despite clearly noticing the pasta was not being consumed. When they finally asked, it was more than an hour later and too late to make amends. They took half the price (23E) of the frutti di mare dish off the bill but 11.50E was expensive considering only 1 shrimp and 2 mussels were consumed. We would not return...
