The Point is in a stunning location in the heart of the Christmas markets overlooking the Christmas tree on Main Square in Strasbourg. We could open the window and were literally overlooking the tree and the wonderful atmosphere of the markets. ||||Virginie met us and kindly left us with a bottle of wine - which we enjoyed the first evening. The apartment has everything we needed, including a kitchenette. ||||Yes, there are lots of stairs - so if 4 flights of stairs are not for you, then neither is this apartment. It's on Place Kléber smack in the centre of Strasbourg, the perfect location to discover this wonderful city. With a bakery within 20 mtr for breakfast and a supermarket within 40 for the rest. The cathedral is a 5 min walk up the street. The boatyard of Batorama a 10 min walk. Park your car on Place du Temple Neuf (sunday free) to unload and check in(Sandra and Olivier are very friendly and helpful).Then move your car to Parking Sebastopol for 20euro/24hrs. It's a 5 min walk too. After that enjoy your apartment. We had the biggest one on the top floor suited for 4. It was amazing! We had to climb 65 stairs every time, though. Dear future guests, ||This is a warning, we cannot recommend this place. Owner was not reachable by phone at the announced arrival time at 18:30 pm, we had to wait around 20 minutes for the key handover. When the employee of the owner opened the door to the apartment, the apartment had obviously not been cleaned (bed not made, half-empty glasses, towels on the floor etc.). We had to wait till 20:30 pm while the apartment was cleaned in the mean time and had to go to dinner without having the possibility to change and have a little rest before.
