El Hostal — Hotel in Tbilisi

This is my second time in two years in this outstanding old georgian house, which welcomes two hostels on the same floor - MY Hostel and EL Hostal ☮️ As usual, i stayed in both for a week in total. Since MY Hostel has less beds, it can become full one day prior your extension, so you end up moving your backpack to another adjacent room, use the other bathrooms and kitchen, which belong to EL Hostal.

Both of them improved the cleanliness, while El Hostal changed their workers during these 2 years. They're collaborative and kind. All areas are punctually cleaned. The atmosphere is really friendly, long term land travelers easily mix up with a/r flight buyers. Lots of pleasant conversation in the dormitories as well on the both-hostels shared internal balcony. The dimension of the kitchen can really make you improve your cooking skills. It might be challenging to cook for many people, for that MY hostel kitchen is more furnished. Still, you can try. 2 of the dormitories are organized for colder weather, table chairs and sofas to avoid sitting outside like in all warm season.

As already stated, the location is second to none. A very small bakery on the opposite door provides bread, cheese and eggs for a regular price, also delicious lobiani and kachapuri for a cheaper price than average bakeries in humble neighbourhoods - 1,50gel lobiani 🤩

Apparently, the bedbugs are gone. No one mentioned about them during this week in the...

Horrible experience. The guy was very polite and friendly and i am sad for this comment for this reason only but i have to be honest. The rooms i don't know if they were dirty because they look quite messy anyways....... It was noisy because they were doing some construction but i guess is not always like this, i was just unlucky....the biggest problem for me is that it was full of bed bugs. It looks that they haven't done anything to resolve this issue for a long time, even if the manager said that they have done disinfection several times. ... Five days of suffering, I don't recommend it at all. I was killing bed gus the whole nights and I didn't sleep at all. If they resolve this problem is...

I am a single woman arrived in the middle of the night with heavy rain in the EI hostel with a hostelworld reservation's confirmation, but the EI hostel was asked to raise the price. The bearded man at the reception came out almost naked to tell me that we had sold your bed and we were sorry that we couldn't let you stay! then kicked me out, what a worse condition of being finally kicked out? Couldn't have this more than terrible experience. They took my deposit, gave me the reservation confirmation number, and I used my credit card to guarantee my stay. This EI hostel should be on the blacklist of all...
