Very disappointed. Was all excited to see an actual museum focused on the history of music. The gate was closed even tho they were open. If you speak English, there's not much for you but a 3 paragraph paper. Folks who spoke Georgian immediately got a tour. I was left to wonder on my own. There are no plaques or discriptions of the displays. Just waisted 5 lari and gained a grand...

The exhibition of the instruments is kind of interesting, but very small and there is not much information about them. There are only 3 small rooms with georgian , asian and european instruments. As a musician, i have visited similar museums to every country i've been to, and this one had the less things to see. At least, the admission fee is...

We absolutely loved it! The guide was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and patient. She had thoroughly explained history of Georgian and European musical instruments. It thrilled and educated us the same time. Highly recommend whether you are a musician or just music lover. You will find this tour very educational and entertaining.

Beautiful structure but the content is not detailed as it could be about Georgia. In any case I found a temporary exhibition about early human discover in Europe and it was really interesting. There is also an area about the soviet era, in a wonderful big room, but the exhibition is not at the same level
