Amazing sauna, best baths in the country!!! Our group booked Pushkin's room (we had 4 people and it was very comfortable amount of space) and we paid 200 lari for an hour. They do recommend booking in advance, however we just walked in and they happen to have a room available. Even though we didn't have a dry sauna there, the sulfide bath was AMAZING! If you think you're an experienced sauna person, let me tell you what: if not here, you will never experience the hot bath that makes your skin feel so silky even two days after! Yes, of course, the smell is very... interesting (sulfide reminds the smell of eggs that went bad couple weeks ago) BUT the interior is beautiful decorated, new showers, a special room for facials and massage, the dramatic lights added to the whole experience so much, we didn't pay too much attention to the smell. Whole hour passed by and we left fully recharged and refreshed! We brought our own towels, slippers, shampoo, but I'm sure the front desk can assist you if you forgot yours. Overall, great experience, I definitely recommend for everyone who's visiting Tbilisi 👍👍

The attendants were knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring that we had a comfortable and enjoyable time. The private bath house added an extra touch of exclusivity, allowing us to fully relax and unwind without any distractions. Choosing Chreli Abano for the last day of our vacation was a brilliant decision. It provided the perfect opportunity to rejuvenate and soak in the therapeutic benefits of the sulfur baths. I highly recommend Chreli Abano to anyone seeking a premium bath house experience in Tbilisi. It's a true gem in the heart of the city.

This is probably one of the most touristy sulphur bath is Tbilisi. Despite knowing this fact we still went for Chreli Abano for our first Sulphur Bath experience. We booked in advance on their website for a 1-6 people room for 150Lari. There is hot bath, cold bath, sauna, toilet and shower. No showering stuff is provided(bath towel, shower gel etc). For us tourists this was a cool experience as we just want to try out Sulphur bath. The room looks slightly disappointing compared to online photos. It doesn’t look as spacious/brand new. There are quite a few sulphur baths around this place, don’t be fooled by this one’s exterior. I believe it has nothing better to offer inside than any other ones, and prices are a lot higher. Also, I recommend book a maximum of 1 hour sulphur bath no matter what room type(it is super hot inside).

The shared baths are a "particular experience". It's incredibly cheap. They do not have towels to rent, only bed sheets. The changing room is quite old, wet floor, some guys playing cards in one corner. Quite intimidating. If I was alone, I wouldn't have gone. Inside the "sauna /bath" they have showers in the middle, a kind of big bath on one corner and a door to a room with a sauna, and a toilet with no toilet seat. The sauna is ok. The showers are nice, however you stand on a little canal with the dirty water from other guys showering. The main thing is that everyone is naked. They even allow kids in there. They offer cheap massage for 20 gel, that lasts 15.mins. Done by a guy, but very strong and relaxing. My recommendation is, take flip flops, your own towel, or 2,to cover the massage table with one, and maybe some shorts...

I am rating it low not because of the place itself, but because of the service. Lady at front desk was rude and didn’t explain anything, when we asked questions, she was annoyed and ruined with her behaviour overall experience for us. Also they really make sure that you don’t stay even 1 minute longer, if you book the room for an hour, you really have to leave within one hour, there is no extra time for changing or showering, after one hour the cleaning service was already banging at the door. Bring your slippers, towels and water, you get charged for everything extra. If you get the scrub, you have to pay not only for the scrub but as well for the mittens. The place is nice and clean, but would definitely not return or recommend it to anyone due to the bad service and the price is high for what you get.

We booked in advance through the website which was great. Upon arrival slippers, towels and scrubbing gloves, tea were charged extra, like GEL 60 for 4 people. The room was spacious and clean and we had our privacy. The hot and cold baths are heaven! So is the sauna, actually. The therapist arrived in 20 min ( lady first then the man for my husband). They were both sweet and provided a good service that was GEL 20/each cash. We spent two hours at Chreli Abano and it was just the right amount of time. Please note there is no shower gel, shampoo or hairdryer available in the private room. Maybe they can offer these for a surcharge, I am not sure. Amazing experience!
