HIGHLY RECOMMEND! A MUST IN BERLIN!
I had the pleasure of dining at Mirari, an Israeli gem in Berlin, and let me tell you, it was an experience beyond compare.
From the moment I stepped through the door, I was enveloped in an ambiance of warmth and sophistication.
The service was impeccable, with staff members who were not only attentive but also genuinely passionate about ensuring every guest had a memorable evening.
The space itself has a beautiful design, with every detail meticulously curated to create an atmosphere of elegance and comfort.
As for the menu, it's a culinary adventure waiting to be explored. With an extensive selection of dishes, there's something to delight every palate. The quality of the ingredients is evident in every bite, from the succulent meats to the fresh seafood and perfectly selected vegetables. And let's not forget about the cocktails and the wine that is second to none. But perhaps the highlight of the evening was indulging in one of their exquisite desserts, each more delectable than the last.
Mirari is more than just a restaurant; it's a concept – a celebration of food, community, and culture. Whether you're sharing a meal with friends or enjoying a romantic date night, this is the place to be.
I can't recommend it highly enough, and I'll certainly be returning soon to try again the culinary delights once again.
A special mention must also go to the owner, who has created not just one, but two other culinary gems in Berlin: Montraw and Mezze Bar by Montraw. These restaurants are a simply amazing, offering an explosion of flavors, spices, and creativity that will leave you...
Read moreI visited Mirari yesterday, and unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. I ordered the burrata, which came in a strange liquid form, and the green tahini was bland, just like the lentils. These three dishes made up the meze, but none of them stood out. The focaccia was a disappointment—just one small piece of bread split between two people, topped with what was supposed to be caramelized onions. In reality, there were only about three tiny, dried bits of onion.
For my main, I ordered the caramelized prawns, which turned out to be just two small grilled prawns. I also ordered some crispy potatoes, and honestly, if it weren't for the potatoes, I would have needed to find somewhere else to have a proper dinner. The portion sizes were minimal, and the food quality was basic, not justifying the high prices.
To add to the disappointment, we initially ordered a bottle of sparkling water, but the waiter kept returning, asking if we wanted more water. We said yes, assuming it would be topped up from the same bottle. When the bill arrived, we were surprised to find we had been charged for four bottles of water at six euros each!
Overall, the experience left a lot to be desired. For the quality and quantity of the food, the prices were far too high. I’m giving Mirari three stars, but I won't be...
Read moreWe went to Mirari for lunch and enjoyed every bit of it.
Thanks to the high ceiling and very large windows the restaurant has a very lofty atmosphere. The place is carefully decorated and its hard to imagine that the room would ever feel cramped, even during busy times.
We enjoyed the lunch menu, which lets you select a "snack", a drink, and a main dish. We shared the snacks, which were different dips and some pickles. What really stood out for me was the Tahini mixed with pearsley oil. There are several meat and fish-based main courses and there were also two vegetarian options. The roasted eggplant, which was perfectly roasted, such that it was not too mushy and smokey was topped with pomegranate and pistachhio, which elevated the earthiness of the aubergine perfectly well. The drink today was a ginger ice tea, which was super refreshing and not sweet at all.
The service was super kind and very helpful with making our choices and made sure that we had everything that we needed at all times.
We will for...
