⭐ Absolutely a 5-Star Experience ⭐ As first-time travelers to Greece, we spent days looking for the perfect hotel, and we couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay at Nur Edge.
Here’s why this stay was unforgettable:
🌆 Perfect Location Nestled right in the heart of downtown Athens, with vibrant Ermou Street just outside, the hotel gave us instant access to the best shopping, dining, and the stunning ancient sites just minutes away. It felt like the whole city was at our doorstep!
🛁 In-Suite Hot Tub – A Dream Come True The private hot tub was everything we could’ve asked for, adding such a unique touch of relaxation to our evenings. Stepping into a warm, bubbling retreat every night was just divine.
💡 Modern Technology and Comfort From the sleek room design to touchless entry and digital conveniences, everything felt sophisticated and seamless. All aspects of the room, from lighting to entertainment, were at our fingertips. The high-tech features made it feel like a true modern oasis.
💫 Unforgettable Staff, Especially Chara A highlight of our stay was Chara, whose warm smile and kind presence made us feel truly at home. From our first messages with her to the personal welcome at check-in, she went above and beyond, always just a text away to make our stay perfect. Her charm and care added such a personal touch. The entire staff, too, radiated such positivity—it was clear they loved what they do.
If you’re looking for a place to experience the beauty of Greece in both modern luxury and ancient charm, I can’t recommend Nur Edge highly enough. This hotel will absolutely make you feel like you’re in the heart of Greece, with the warmth of a true home...
Read moreWe visited Nur Edge in early May 2025, stayed for 4 nights. The view from the room is excellent. Location is great as it’s just 10 minutes walk to Ancient Agora and 15 mins to Acropolis. The property is right on one of the busiest streets and cars are blocked during the business hours. This means, if you are taking Uber to get here, it won’t be exactly right in front of the hotel. Expect walking for a min or two with your luggage.
When you depart, just have the Uber wait for you at the Holy Cross church in the south. Note that Uber is just a taxi, and costs about 43-46euro. Uber is much more reliable than normal taxis because they are blinded by Uber rules and your review.
As for the hotel. Great staff, super friendly and very accommodating. There are definitely issues with this hotel and here are the list of things we countered during our stay:
AC was out of order for one night - I couldn't sleep until 1am due to the heat (I set my AC to 81F/27C at home just FYI). No refund or compensation offered.
One of the lights couldn't be turned off - A staff came immediately and help us shut off the whole light system from the power grid.
Terrible bathroom design - Stays wet all the time.
Still, due to their friendly staff, I decide to give it a 4-star rating. They really need to rewire this property, so just check other reviews with "most recent" and make sure this is not reoccurring. If it is, stay away...
Read moreThis Aparthotel was a mixed experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the self check-in was very convenient. The rooms were nicely designed, clean, and comfortable, once we moved to a different room. But the soundproofing was terrible. In our first room, even on the 4th floor, we could hear everything: street noise, doors opening and closing, and even toilets flushing. I couldn’t sleep for the first two nights until we switched rooms. Another disappointment was the building itself. The entrance is old and uninviting, and this is not shown anywhere in the listing. While the rooms look modern, the building is much older, and the lack of insulated windows makes noise a serious issue for light sleepers. On a positive note, the new room had an amazing view of the Acropolis, which was a real highlight of our stay. Overall: great staff and nicely designed rooms, but horrible soundproofing and a misleading presentation of the property. Guests should be aware of this...
