Brill Budapest Apartments — Hotel in Budapest

Met one of the lovely young ladies who showed us to our apartment, and explained how everything worked for getting in and out of the building. Apartment was spotless, lots of room. They let us borrow a couple of towels for the spa. Great central location. Overall outstanding. They still require you to pay in cash. WARNING, do not get cash from the atm’s at the airport. They do not belong to banks, and give a terrible exchange rate. Get enough to pay for your cab, and pull out cash from a bank ATM in the city. We took a cab from the airport, just show the cab office the address, and they send you a cab and give you an estimate. Cost us 8,000HUF. The apartment ladies set us up for a trip back for 10,000HUF. One last thing, hate to say it, but the young ladies who work in the office, are all very well educated, speak great English, and look like...

Don’t get wrong everything was very good no hassle until I got home . But I feel the need to be charged 50 plus pound for a few towels having fake tan stains , and the bed sheets having the minimal of stains . We aren’t living in Victorian times . You just want to take extra money when necessary and I get it , I would not recommend this if you believe in fair treatment , but as I say lovely apartment but it’s a shame it ended with a payment (it was taken before any explanation was sent ). Staff are very helpful yes but be mindful the tiniest details will be punished with a penalty . It just wasn’t the best surprise to come to , here’s an image I was sent , I don’t think it was in really bad condition as the host stated.
