This is my 5th trip to Budapest and my favorite place I've stayed. Elisa is so sweet! We only needed a quick place to sleep for 5 hours before our very early flight so I found this place at he last minute near our boat dock. Upon arrival I regretted not finding it at the beginning of our stay when we spent several days in Budapest as this was SO much nicer than our other location.
The room was immaculate, very cutely decorated and the whole building was shockingly quiet compared to the crazy outside. Great to have double layer windows and a small fan to make white noise. LOCATION: incredible! What lovely views down to the square and an easy walk to everything in the center. We had our own little private bathroom located outside our room which was an unexpected bonus. To people who complain about this- it is very clearly stated in the booking and really not a hassle. I don't want to hear my boyfriend poop, I LIKE the external bathrooms. It had the pricing and set up a bit like a boutique hostel but without all the annoyance of "backpackers" which I am a little too old for at this point.
This place was a perfect balance for our budget but with comfort. This area is mostly $400 upscale hotels. Elisa's communication and patience was prompt and perfect! There is a kitchen if you need and a small refrigerator in the room. Such a great spot, if it isn't fully booked we will stay here anytime when...
Read moreAwesome location, and a very nice host. It’s not so easy to find the building at first, since its entrance is very discrete (right next to an Italian restaurant). The rooms are on the second floor of an old building, but have been renovated recently. I think all the rooms face Vörösmarty tér (the lovely piazza in the photos). There are many restaurants around, and the Danube is literally 5 minutes away on foot. We were lucky to be there during the Budapest spring festival. Another great things about the location is its proximity to the 100E shuttle final stop (Deák Ferenc tér)—so you don’t need to take a taxi to/from...
