Cinta Grill — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Overall very disappointing experience from Cinta Grill despite having high reviews and recommended by many.

The only thing that stands out was the starter tuna crispy bites. Excellent flavor and combination.

However the main spicy green curry is letting us down. Only couple pieces of chicken with some lychee and probably one little eggplant. No other ingredients in the curry. We also ordered the Fisherman’s catch but the prawn was mushy and hard to peel. Worst is the fries side that we ordered. Came cold and some are burnt and some are undercooked and you can clearly see the color difference in the picture. They probably refried the fries hence why. After we complained then only they change a new one for us.

One starter, one Asian main, one grill item, one sides, one cocktail, one drink and the total bill came around IDR600,000+. I think with this price there are better options available in Ubud. Overall just for you to consider if you are planning...

Food variety is awesome and our dishes & dessert were delicious. Plus we were served quickly by a very friendly server. However, I didn’t give them a 5 star review because as soon as they seated us all 3 people at the table next to us lit up cigarettes. It was awful with the smoke. We immediately asked to be moved and they sat us with empty tables around us and within a few minutes of them moving us a guy left his table and came across the restaurant and sat next to our table and lit up a cigarette. So we moved again. When we were almost done eating they sat a couple one table from us and he lit up a cigarette and started smoking. It was unbelievable. So I guess they have a smoking area and kept moving us within that smoking area. Not sure why they didn’t just move us to a non smoking area within the eating area the first time they moved us. And had we known so many people go there to smoke we would have not...

Cannot understand why this restaurant does not get higher ratings. Ate here two nights and the service and food was just out of this world. We were treated like lords by the most wonderful waitress Minta (correct spelling ?) who is just such a lovely person and a real asset to this premises. We ate here one night when it was like the monsoons with water running in every direction and yet the staff made us feel like the sun was shining. The food Garlic Prawn, Pork Belly Slider, Flank Steak ,Corn Fritters , Chicken Fajitas , Apple Blueberry Crumble and Key Lime tart all just to die for. They also do the most wonderful cocktails especially the Smoking Negroni , and you just wont want to leave the place. A big thank you to Minta who just made our two nights visiting...
