Read moreThe location of this hotel is perfect, close to the main train and bus stations and within walking distance of the city center. At the reception, we were warmly greeted by a lovely and helpful lady, who not only assisted us but also shared some wonderful insights about hidden local gems that only residents usually know. This personal touch made our check-in experience very pleasant.
However, I was truly disappointed by our room. When booking, I focused more on the pictures rather than carefully reading the description, which turned out to be a mistake. The room was extremely small—so much so that two people couldn't move around at the same time. We spent most of our time on the bed because there wasn’t even a chair to sit on. While the room had a kettle with complimentary tea, a minibar, and a safe, the safe was too small to fit my laptop.
The hotel itself is not modern; in fact, it felt more like a small, old apartment rather than a proper hotel room. On the positive side, the bathroom was clean, which I appreciated. However, the biggest issue was the thin walls—I actually woke up to what I thought was my alarm ringing, only to realize it was my neighbor’s alarm in the next room! If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this hotel is definitely not the best option.
As for breakfast, it was decent—there were enough options to satisfy us, and the food was fresh and warm.
If you're considering this hotel, be aware of its downsides. If I were traveling alone, I might stay here again since I don’t mind some noise. But if I were visiting Florence with my family, I would definitely choose a...

I was a bit worried at the beginning since I normally try to stay in hotel chains that I am familiar with, but as soon as I arrived in the reception it was clear my worries were unfounded. The receptionist who checked us in, Jasmine (red hair), was amazingly friendly, courteous and just so extraordinarily helpful, gave us all the information we could have needed, was able to arrange the room for us even though we were very early and also provided some great suggestions on local tours and general advice on how to save money, always with a smile and great demeanor.
Whoever is arranging the employee of the month competition needs to put Jasmine at the top.
Now on to the room itself. It was on the 4th floor and luckily theres an elevator. Room looked great, so very spacious, very big modern TV, fridge stocked with soft drinks and water, beautifully decorated, there were all the elements needed to make coffee and even several very nicely designed cups were available in a common desk.
The room has also a small balcony and a modern bathroom, and all of this was super clean. Even an air conditioner was available.
Only 20 to 25 min walk to the Duomo.
I cannot recommend...
