The hotel is in a very calm neighborhood full of restaurants and shops. It is on the border outside ztl area. Tourists can easily drive to the hotel and there are plenty of street parking available. It is located just 15 mins walk from centre attractions. Check-in and check-out were smooth. Staffs were really soft spoken and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent, well stocked and delicious: boiled eggs, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, cheeses, croissants, breads, and meats, as well as juices, coffee and tea. It also has a beautiful bar/lobby area. Hotel offers 15€ per night car parking if you don’t find street parking nearby. The room was cleaned everyday. It was spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 toddlers for reasonable price and super clean. Smart tv really helped us keeping our toddlers calmed. We felt room was quite hot but managed by switching off one of the radiators. Other than that we enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend this hotel.

We loved this hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Easy to take a bus to the station upon departing and they had tickets for sale at the hotel and have us a paper map so we knew the names of all the attractions. So convenient to see all attractions but also easy to go the back streets to find the lol eateries and grocery stores. Great clean bathroom, cleane towels daily. Room in general big enough with a mini bar. It lost one star because we had a family with 2 children opposite us and the walls are paper thin. The children (2) screamed and cried all night, and all the next morning the second night we stayed. Maybe the hotel needs to move little kids somewhere else if they can. Away from those who want to sleep in, travelling quietly.

The hotel is located on the east side of Florence, in a quiet area near the historic center(about a 20-minute walk), and just a few minutes' walk from the Arno river. |It's a small, nice city hotel with a vintage style and simply decorated, but well equipped hell rooms. |Includes a bar, a small breakfast area with lots of breakfast choices. There is also an elevator and a parking area around the hotel.|The neighborhood offers many choices like cafés, restaurants, the local central market, a Coop supermarket, and other different stores. There are two bus stations not far away from the hotel, with busses driving to the city center every few minutes.|But...Florence is a walkable city and the distance between the hotel and the center can be easily done with just walking.|Every corner in Florence has something to discover, so the time flies fast and before you know....boom!!!|You've reached the city center!||The staff of Jane Hotel is there for the guests, making sure that everything works as good as possible. |Special thanks to Jasmin(in the reception)!|Even if she's working double shift for now(covering for a colleague), she's always there for the guests!|With a big warm smile, she provides help and any kind of information about Florence. |You can tell that she loves her job and managing the hotel professionally!||Is the hotel ideal to stay and spend the whole time there?|No. And it shouldn't be that way either.|Florence offers a lot to see and you can spend a lot amount of your time outside, exploring the city and the story that has to tell.|You only need a nice and clean place to sleep quietly at night, good breakfast, some stores nearby and easy access to the center.|And that is exactly what the hotel Jane offers.||Arrivederci,...

The location of this hotel is perfect, close to the main train and bus stations and within walking distance of the city center. At the reception, we were warmly greeted by a lovely and helpful lady, who not only assisted us but also shared some wonderful insights about hidden local gems that only residents usually know. This personal touch made our check-in experience very pleasant.

However, I was truly disappointed by our room. When booking, I focused more on the pictures rather than carefully reading the description, which turned out to be a mistake. The room was extremely small—so much so that two people couldn't move around at the same time. We spent most of our time on the bed because there wasn’t even a chair to sit on. While the room had a kettle with complimentary tea, a minibar, and a safe, the safe was too small to fit my laptop.

The hotel itself is not modern; in fact, it felt more like a small, old apartment rather than a proper hotel room. On the positive side, the bathroom was clean, which I appreciated. However, the biggest issue was the thin walls—I actually woke up to what I thought was my alarm ringing, only to realize it was my neighbor’s alarm in the next room! If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this hotel is definitely not the best option.

As for breakfast, it was decent—there were enough options to satisfy us, and the food was fresh and warm.

If you're considering this hotel, be aware of its downsides. If I were traveling alone, I might stay here again since I don’t mind some noise. But if I were visiting Florence with my family, I would definitely choose a...

Very nice cozy hotel. I was a bit worried at the beginning since I normally try to stay in hotel chains that I am familiar with, but as soon as I arrived in the reception it was clear my worries were unfounded. The receptionist who checked us in, Jasmine (red hair), was amazingly friendly, courteous and just so extraordinarily helpful, gave us all the information we could have needed, was able to arrange the room for us even though we were very early and also provided some great suggestions on local tours and general advice on how to save money, always with a smile and great demeanor.

Whoever is arranging the employee of the month competition needs to put Jasmine at the top.

Now on to the room itself. It was on the 4th floor and luckily theres an elevator. Room looked great, so very spacious, very big modern TV, fridge stocked with soft drinks and water, beautifully decorated, there were all the elements needed to make coffee and even several very nicely designed cups were available in a common desk.

The room has also a small balcony and a modern bathroom, and all of this was super clean. Even an air conditioner was available.

Only 20 to 25 min walk to the Duomo.

I cannot recommend...
