Coffee Small — Restaurant in Osaka

Small and homey cafe near Kuromon market. The place has a vintage charm and it’s like walking into someone’s living room to have a cup of coffee. I thought I arrived in the wrong place when I first walked in lol. Every drink is made fresh. The cocoa has a bitterness to it which was unexpected, but welcome. It shows she uses real chocolate in the drink. The thick butter toast comes with jam and slices of cheese on top which had a nice balance of sweet and savory. The coffee was smooth and comes with slices of delicious apples. The service is great! The proprietor makes everything fresh so it may take awhile. A lovely coffee shop that take you back to the 70/80s. Had a great time chatting up w the sweet lady owner who is in her 80s . She showed us her shop history . The shop has been open for 60 years when she was in her 20s. . Old photos show it was a glorious place to hang out and karaoke. The warmth of the shop adds to the coffee and snacks we had .
