Found this establishment by typing in unagi on Google Maps. Looked unlit and closed from the outside but we could see the elderly couple in the back room and the front door was unlocked, so we politely announced ourselves. They were so gracious to let us in and cook us super delicious edo style unagi served over rice with some pickled vegetables and tea. Only 2 tables and it was like eating at grandma and grandpa’s humble home. A truly special experience that I will treasure in my memories of my trip to Japan. Another reviewer said this is the 4th generation proprietor and the perfection of this meal confirms it!
