Super OYO 1159 Hotel New Sabah — Hotel in Borneo

Everything was great. Book through AirAsia SNAP. Reasonable price with great service. The uncle who greeted me is very friendly. Along with other staff which are friendly as well.

Recommend but the parking here have to put coupon which a bit inconvenience for us however it's only 8am-5pm.

Night time no need to put coupon. Nearby Pasar which sell variety of food and fruits. There even selling souvenir and snack which you all can bring home.

We had two double bed room which was spacious and still have leg rooms to move around. Nice city view.

One more, just beside hotels got a restaurant which is super convenient. Nearby 99 speedmart and KFC.

Hotels was near seaview which can see sunset. From 5.30pm. Better go early to take nice photo or landscape photo.

Don't worry about availability of car parking. A lot and very very easy to find...

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in KK, especially at Segama.

The room was okay; the only thing I have to complain about is the bedsheets, which felt kind of filthy. The hotel's management could improve this part more.

But what's in need of a huge improvement? The service quality. The staff in the hotel is RUDE, especially the uncle at the reception. To the hotel's management, tell uncle to not put out his personal troubles on the hotel guests if he ever has one. Yelling at your guests/customers is not cool.

Last but not least, the location is kind of okay for someone who is opting to stay near the waterfront area.

All and all, I'll not repeat my stay at this hotel unless the hotel management improves its quality. I am not paying over RM90 for a room that feels like a backpackers' hostel that you can...

Service tax was pretty high but the service was bad. You get what you paid for. The room is exactly the reason why the price is low. But why charge service tax if your service sucks? There's not even a phone in the room to call front desk if you need anything. They only provided one towel for a two person staying there. Staffs are not friendly at all. The faucet was broken. Three floors and you have to climb stairs all the way up. No elevator. No fan. The air conditioner is old thus why it's slow and not functioning very well. Better to go elsewhere if you want to be comfortable sleeping. Bc the pillows are hard. The blankets are rough and the bedsheets looks dirty. Overall bad experience. First and last. Not...
