Caters to mainly China tourists. Absolutely no service at all. Although prices are decent, the value and taste lacked far behind. Had to wait an hour after food was ordered and when they arrived, taste was lacklustre. They even served my dish of assam long beans with prawns without the prawns and when asked the service staff, “where are the prawns?”, they asked their kitchen and replied they forgot to add. How does a restaurant not know their own menu ingredients when the dish you serve has a picture of the long beans with prawns on your menu? The other dish, cincalok omelette also tasted like regular omelette. To top it all, the cashier, an old guy, presumably, the owner, argued with me over this during payment. Avoid this place. Simply one of the best nonya peranakan restaurants I been. Their sambal kangkong is very different from the normal type. The fragrance of the belacan makes you keep wanting to go back for the next bite. Got for their pineapple juice. Get the big jug at only 15 ringgit. Good for 3 to 4 pax. I also ordered ayam cili Garam and otak otak both were home recipe. Absolutely delicious! I bought their chilli sauce and the boss knows we drove from Singapore, even pack it with foam packing to ensure it's secured. Their fried shallots looked too good to passed on. So I got 2 bottles. 6 of us were there on 2 Jan 2016 for lunch. We waited for 15 minutes for our drinks to be served. Then waited another 45 minutes for the dishes to be served. We asked the waitresses twice when the food will be ready and they both replied that they needed to check with the kitchen. Both times they did not come back to tell us. The second waitress said that we took a long time to order and hence the delay. We were almost going to leave. Food was average and portion was small.
