Stayed in their Deluxe Suite and honestly, it was such a comfy and gorgeous stay. The room was spacious, the TV was huge, the bed was massive and the toilet was clean and modern, all the right things you’d want for a short getaway. They even had Netflix, which we really enjoyed during our chill time. A couple of minor things to note though: the water heater wasn’t working too well and the suite is on the third floor with no lift, so be prepared to climb a bit. Also, no iron in the room, not a big deal but just something to be aware of. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. They had some light nyonya dishes, a variety of eggs you could order, cereals and some kuih. Simple but satisfying. They do have designated parking at the back, but when we were there, it was full due to the crowd so we had to look for our own spot nearby. Still way easier than trying to get a space in front near Jonker. Location-wise, it’s super central. Just a short walk to Jonker Street, which makes exploring really convenient. We paid over RM400 for one night. Not exactly cheap but for the space, comfort and location, i’d say it’s worth it. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Why 3 stars? First all, we were given a room facing the front (cars, motors, rempits), zooming at 3-4am on the street. Then the upstairs guests were like giants and Goliath. Every single footstep you could hear and feel in your room. Whole room shaking. I barely could sleep. Tbh. Then at 11am, the cleaner cleans the rooms upstairs and there goes again. The dragging of the vacuum, footsteps and more dragging. The room itself is a 6/10 for me. While it’s ratter clean, the functionality is not there. No vanity table. Don’t know where to dry my hair etc coz plug point not near to a mirror. Their soap, shampoo and shower gel is not good. Like a low budget hotel. Luckily I brought my own stuffs. Mini bar was not great. The usual. Staff wise, the night one was not helpful. Asked for extension of checkout, he just say I don’t know. The day staffs were better. More friendly. Breakfast was just ok only. Nothing to shout about. Limited variety. Good thing is during off peak season, less crowded.

A very nice and small scale hotel. Walking distance of the sights to see in Melacca. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms with all amenities you can expect. Also, there was a nice lemon grass scent in the room. The staff was very friendly and did all to make our stay pleasant. For those coming by car, you can park at a temporary parking in front of the hotel. The staff will park your car at the hotel parking at the back of the hotel. The hotel is set-up in two traditional Baba & Nyonya houses linked together. Much of the original elements have been kept, making your stay a trip into history. The breakfast is a mix of simple continental and local food. Your egg will be freshly made the way you want it. Also at the breakfast the staff was attentive and very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and will be back myself for sure. I stayed here with my wife and other family members few days before Christmas 2019.

t was our first time to Malacca, and I wanted to my husband to experience a stay in a place similar to what my grandmother had described from her childhood here.

Heeren Palm Suites met all expectations.

A grand old family home with so much of its original fittings retained and/restored; it is an absolutely gorgeous space throughout, and you can almost hear the memories the walls have witnessed. It has a serene and welcoming vibe, that is definitely contributed to by the lovely staff.

The hotel is very conveniently situated. Jonker Street runs the next parallel to the road its on, and the main square, river and other attractions are within very easy-to- moderate walks away.

The room we were in (Junior Deluxe) was very well-appointed, furnished with period furniture, and extremely comfortable. It definitely was a space you wanted to retreat to after a day taking in Malacca city. It had a small balcony with a very oldie-European/Mediterranean feel...a view over terracotta tiled rooftops and stucco walls. Lovely in the early morning.

Breakfast was sensational, not only in taste, but also in variety and generosity. The "Aunty" who obviously oversaw, and prepared the food service, made excellent to-order omelettes, too. All the staff from the reception-, to the catering-, and maintenance- staff were warm, professional, and extremely helpful. A standout staff member for us was Najwa, who went above and beyond to assist with our booking, and stay.

Our stay was too short, and we'll be back if we possibly can.

Thank you to all at Heeren Palm Suites, for a...

Title: Great Staff, but Noisy RoomRating: ★★★☆☆I recently stayed at Heeren Palm Suites Melaka and had a mixed experience. While the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, there were some issues with the room that affected my overall enjoyment of the stay.I was assigned room number 202, which unfortunately faced the road. At night, the noise from the road could be quite bothersome at times. I really hope the hotel management can take some measures to minimize the noise, as it affected my sleep quality. However, I must commend the staff at Heeren Palm Suites for their exceptional customer service. From the moment I checked in until the day of my departure, they were always welcoming, accommodating, and ready to assist with anything I needed. Their friendliness truly added to the positive aspects of my stay. The hotel itself boasts a charming atmosphere, with its historical architecture and tasteful décor. The room was clean and well-maintained, offering all the basic amenities one would expect in a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the location is convenient, as it is situated near various tourist attractions and dining options.Despite the noise issue, I appreciate the effort of the hotel staff in ensuring a comfortable and pleasant stay. If the noise problem can be addressed, I would gladly give Heeren Palm Suites Melaka a...

The location is great, just a few doors away from the BaBa House which just happen to be a lot more renovated and furnished and they charged $250 for the same period i stayed in at Hereen Palm Suites which cost me $105 via Trip.com. It is just 3 minutes walk to Jonker Street and is on the quieter side so you dont get bothered by car traffic and human yet is convenient enough to all the shops and eateries. The whole place has only 10 suites and the rooms are HUGE and clean. Bathroom is huge and water pressure is great and heater works very well, if i am to be picky, it will be complete if they have a bathtub and they should install some toilet hangers for the clothes when you shower. The room aircon is via concealed vents , so its well distributed compared to a standalone FCU unit. Aside from teh bed there is also a daybed in the room, which is comfy and great for lazing and watching the TV.The only flaw i can pick is the mini fridge was not working in my room.Outside of the room, i wish they can open the window in the common area/ corridor, as all the internal space are really not ventiated and they dont turn on the A/C, so you cannot really enjoy the common spaces.Overall, its super value for money and breakfast provided was quite good spread and tasty enough, no complains given that its complimentary. I would give it...
