Visited back in Feb. Xiang Lin Si Temple is a Buddhist temple built in the style of a Chinese architecture. It’s a very photogenic two storeyed building with Buddhist shrines on both floors. The hall on the ground floor has two major shrines as well as sculptures of the 18 disciples of Buddha of the Chinese tradition. Up stairs is another hall equally as large as the one downstairs, with three shrines to the Buddha or his disciples. The upper floor also has a balcony from where you can get a good view down Harmony Street and great photo ops of Cheng Hoon Teng Temple and to a lesser extent, Kampung Kling Mosque.

This temple started out as a simple wooden structure in 1958, before being remodeled in 1985 to what it is now. Purely a Buddhist temple with multiple shrines on the ground and second floor. There are also trinkets and materials for sale at the counter. I was given a few materials of my choice in gratis. Saw folks praying and tossing Kua Chim (poetry sticks) and Jiaobei (moon block) for gods to grant them or not their wishes. The place is quiet. Paid parking is available on the street curb. #RP

Viewing from the outside while passing by. Morning market crowding within the front of the temple on this Thursday. We prayer from the outside and from the facade outside, after reading through the information, we gathered that, temple is the Buddhism and of course, the structure and facade is admirable.
