Read morei came around 1030 and wanted to place an order from the lunch menu, but i wasn’t allowed to. i had to wait till it hit 11. did not make sense to me.
i wanted to order the red snapper but they didn’t have it (off for a restaurant called the red snapper) so i asked the waiter for recommendations. there was another fish on the menu and he recommended it. he advised it would take long, which is fine. told the waiter i wanted rice instead of mashed potatoes, he said okay.
got my food. no rice but mashed potatoes instead. he took my plate back and told me to wait few mins. and he returned my plate with no changes and told me the rice will be few mins.
waited till i have the side rice to eat. the fish was overly cooked, which i don’t understand. the name of the restaurant deals with fish. i assume they would know how to not overcook fish. see the picture below. you can see how it’s over cooked and i haven’t even cut into it.
when i asked for my bill, the waiter asked how my food was. i told him the t tuna steak is really over cooked. he said nothing and just gave my check.

Only issue is poor service level by some employees there.. specifically Javed (I hope I got the name right). He was always cranky, extremely arrogant with frown on his face. For breakfast (which was included already in paid stay) he refused to give to all and said only for 2 people that too 2 plates... Very basic one... When asked for spoon and fork during room service, he said eat sushi with chopsticks... It was required for my small daughter and even when we told him that he was lecturing how it wasn't necessary... Then once we ordered pancakes but he got french toasts... When we said this isn't what we ordered... He was still saying it must be the same as we ordered and did not accept it was his mistake for some time....
Management should look into it because as a good quality, taste and in fact service of few other members was impeccable and hence I have given 4 star. But 1 individual can actually ruin the good experience for guests completely...
