Hotel Aagaman — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

This Hotel is off the main road in a charming alley so much more peaceful yet close to all. The management is present at all times and safe. I have stayed here full over a month and the price is right! Close to local and western eateries in heart of Thamel! It is presently being renovated into better rooms and there is a choice of affordable rooms and also longer term apartments!! We stayed in the hotel for an entire week. As volunteers of an organization we are required to stay at another hotel. We came across this hotel when the other was booked full, and comparitively we were so impressed. Rooms are really great for what you are paying - absolutely perfect location for Nepal's limited nightlife and good nearby choices for restraunt locations. Sweet staff!!!! We stayed here a few nights. It was a bit mouldy on the walls and none of the windows would open or shut properly. Same goes for the door. The bathroom window did not shut at all. Otherwise basic room with nice TV. The staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The TV is connected to the emergency power but not the fan. The other way around would be better.
