Hotel Everest Nepal — Hotel in Kathmandu Metropolitan City

I sadly did not get the same experience as lot of the reviews for this place. We had a twin room following an internal transfer from another hotel.

The positives the price is very good the staff are helpful variety of room combinations is good

The negatives place does not feel maintained the lift buttons ( inside and outside) do not work reliably, making you feel concerned twin room felt cramped bathroom is wet room with no place for putting clothes while you shower light switches will affect random things like the switch for bathroom light will affect TV the big issue, the floor and place felt dusty when walking bare foot

Luckily only stayed one night and Yet to try the breakfast. For the price it is fair. But there is reason why it's cheap. And would be willing to pay more for...

Our stay at this Thamel hotel was exceptional, largely due to the outstanding staff, notably Yashoda and Keshav, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Welcoming us with an early check-in at 5 am without extra charge was a highlight. The room was comfortable, featuring a wonderful bed, reliable hot water, and a perfectly functioning lift. A very good boutique hotel. Great location, no noise. Very friendly staff. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and clean. Basic toiletries. Electric cattle for hot water and tea. Inside the famous Thamel area. Kathmandu Darbar square is within 15 mins walking distance. Lot of restaurants, shops, clubs within few minutes.
