Stayed in February 2019 and September and October 2022. Hotel and rooms very clean and daily housekeeping. Staff all very nice and helpful. Hot water erratic, you need to use hot water when it is heated and before everyone else uses it (early afternoon seems best time). Buffet breakfast erratic, sometimes have a selection, sometimes nothing much. Food service slow. I ordered a meal for dinner thinking I was supporting the hotel, they didn't seem very happy about it, took an hour and a half and was not good, nobody appeared to order dinners there. Make sure you book a room through a booking site. Request a room with a balcony. I made the mistake of booking my room directly with the hotel (thinking this would save them the booking fees) - they forgot about my booking and Iwhen I arrived denied that I booked, until I pointed it out in their booking diary. They told me they wouldn't give me a good room because I had not booked through a booking site. I was put in a room that had a brick wall against the window and no light in the kitchen/service corridor area. Noisy from 6am to midnight every day. In 2019 I booked large adjoining rooms with a booking site and my son and were told that wasn't available and we were put into a tiny room together which was not what we paid for. If I stay again, I will book through a booking site and not pay upfront until I see the room they...

My Nepal trip became horrible due to this hotel staff. It was very bad experience at this hotel. I stayed total 2 nights. first night I was very tired due to long flight so I didn't feel anything but when I wake up next morning, my whole body was paining because many mosquito bite me. not only in room, everywhere in the hotel like lobby area, breakfast area and even on room top there were too many mosquito. Next day, I bough anti mosquito gel then I could sleep.
not only this above things, on my third day morning I was planning to go to Pokhara and i told to receptionist for wake up call in morning at 5: 30 am but no one wake me up. I wake up my self at 6 30 am and quickly went to reception with my luggage. i try to find receptionist but I dint find him. he was sleeping in private room next to reception. when i asked about wake up call, he was so much angry. I feel so bad. i paid room bill and leave immediately. Due to this i loose tourist bus to Pokhara so i went with local bus. due to this, my schedule trip became horrible.
I didn't find any professional staff here. i think one family running this hotel. they don't know what is service and facility. breakfast was just so so. for the hot water, takes almost 15 minutes. location was fine near Thamel. I suggest look any other...

Firstly, the location is good. Close to Tamel. That's about it.
I stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago and it was absolutely horrible. The rooms were nothing like the pictures. The air conditioner did not work and they said they would fix it but did not. The sheets and towels were dirty and stained and there were still things on the floor from previous guests. But the worst part was that we found bed bugs! We talked to the staff about it but they didn't do anything. On top of that, I discovered that my bedding had not been changed and was dirty.
This hotel is definitely not a 3* more like a 0* with force. The rooms were tiny, old, dirty, and very dated. The walls were covered with stains.
The nightly receptionist was not there when I went to check out at 5:30 am, even though I had been assured the night before that I could check out at any time.
After 10 minutes of searching, I finally found the person asleep at his desk in the private area. I tried to wake him up. He was very rude when awakened and said he was not allowed in the private area.
All the staff was seating on sofas and coffee shop area with mobile. They don't care who came and went. It looked like They were staying at their home. They were in sandals T-shirts...
