A good option for a reasonable price. I was booked here by my friend starting last year, so I was here during the construction. A bit noisy but when I looked around I didn't want to move because other places had smaller rooms, worse bathrooms and often semi-dirt road access that turns into a mud bath when it rains...not fun. All the rooms are now like brand new including TV's(wish they didn't) new mattresses, pillows (don't think the sheets are new but they're always clean) drapes, bathrooms redone including most important to me: hand bidet sprayers in the bathrooms! I spent years in Thailand and toilet paper just doesn't cut it anymore. Each floor has a new router and the wifi connection is quite good, many small hotels have frequently sketchy wifi. Everyone will say the staff is helpful, and they are, but more important to me was they let me borrow their toaster everyday so I could have toast with my coffee - oh and they have a new coffee shop in front now. They also let me use their kitchen to prepare salads and tuna for sandwiches, most appreciated. Lastly they have not 1 but 3 rooftop terraces which are great to read on and usually I had them to myself.
