I must say I'd booked Zen B&B which no longer exists so having been met perfectly at the airport by Sitram and taken here he explained Zen was his brother's place (now overseas). Similar quality to Zen next door but in far better condition having been decorated recently throughout.|Now, it is budget accommodation, not the Ritz, but its clean, things work fine, and to be honest, on my last morning during a several hours-long power cut to the area, they had great hot water in abundance!! Excellent surprise. |As at Zen there's tea or coffee available for free every time you pass reception, and Sitram and his small team are so friendly and willing to please. |He came out to the street when I left and arranged taxi to the airport and personally meets you on arrival if you've requested.|Oh, and yes, finding it you really do need a guide, but it's in a quiet alleyway with access to two great streets so for me saved time walking in a circle. And best of all, my favourite eatery is literally round the corner at MoMo Star.|I'll be back next year...

Read moreI realise it’s budget accommodation but we mostly stay budget and never had issues like this ... firstly I had to get the mop to clean the thick dust off the floor. Secondly my husband returned to the hotel when a heavy rainstorm came to close the windows we had left open. Turns out one of the windows actually had no glass in it! But worst was the sewer had flooded and he had to wade through it to actually get into the hotel. When he told the guy we weren’t actually going to stay there but he would pay for the one night ( all we had used was the bathroom) and went to collect our baggage, when he came down the guy had called friends who tried to take out baggage and stop my husband leaving. |Not a pleasant start to our first night in...
