We had the most wonderful stay at Billabong Garden in Pokhara! The environment is absolutely lovely – calm, clean, making it a perfect getaway spot. What truly stood out was the unmatched care and hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family.
A special mention goes to the owner, one of the kindest and most genuine people we’ve ever met. His gentle nature and attention to every detail made us feel incredibly safe and welcome. The security here is top-notch, giving complete peace of mind throughout the stay.
It’s also just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Fewa Lake, which made it super convenient for morning strolls and lakeside evenings. The room service is excellent, and the food – absolutely delicious! Every meal felt homemade and served with love.

Read moreDo Not Go To This Place. Its a biggest scam. The rooms are filthy and dirty. We checked in to the super deluxe room with bathtub as the owner sold us this one as their best room. When we went to the room it was one of the worst room i have ever seen. The table top was completely of the table so we could put anything on. Bathtub was filled with mould(see the pics below) but the owner agrued that it's some sort of the glue but seriously you can't fool people. When we opened the shower head then there was no water. Gave our laundry for cleaning and was promised to get it back in an hour but 5 hrs later still came back dirty. Then we decided to cancel the room and go to another hotel but then we already had our deposit paid so the owner refused to pay us back. Please do yourself a favour and do not go...
Read moreAmazing Stay – Felt Like Home! We’ve stayed at this hotel three times and spent almost 15 days in total – that itself says a lot! The place is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The rooms were always tidy, and whenever we requested daily cleaning, it was done without any issues.
The best part of our stay was the hotel owner – we fondly call him “uncle.” He was extremely helpful, caring, and always went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. It really felt like staying with family.
The balcony in our room offered beautiful natural views, which made our mornings even better. And as a bonus, Phewa Lake is just a 5-minute walk away – perfect for a peaceful evening stroll.
Highly recommended if you're visiting Pokhara and looking for a homely, pleasant...
