recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Sarowar in Pokhara for an entire month with my family, and overall, it was a delightful experience. There were many aspects of our stay that were truly remarkable. Here is a detailed review of our experience: Front Office: I must start by praising the outstanding hospitality provided by the front office team. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism shown by the staff made us feel right at home. I would particularly like to compliment Manu, Purnima, Salina and Bikash for their respectful, courteous, and attentive service. They truly went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met and were always available to assist us with a smile. Their commitment to providing excellent guest service truly sets the hotel apart and made a huge difference during our stay. Breakfast Restaurant: Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast service. The team in the restaurant was incredibly supportive, ensuring that every guest felt valued and well taken care of. Suman, Sunil and Bishnu deserve special mention for their exceptional hospitality. They were always attentive to our needs, ensuring that breakfast was not only delicious but that we had everything we required to start the day off right. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to accommodate any special requests made the mornings even more enjoyable.
Housekeeping: The housekeeping staff deserves a huge compliment for their efficiency and attention to detail. Our room was always impeccably clean and well-maintained, with fresh towels, toiletries, and other amenities provided promptly. It was clear that the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work, and their efforts contributed significantly to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall Stay: My family and I genuinely enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sarowar. The location, the amenities, and most importantly, the people made it a memorable experience. I can confidently say that I will return to this hotel the next time I visit Pokhara. The exceptional service provided by the staff made all the difference, and I look forward to another visit in the...
Read moreStayed here for 5 days during Dashain. Initially, the buffet was fantastic, but like a magic trick gone wrong, it gradually lost its charm. The dessert vanished faster than a rabbit in a magician's hat, and nobody bothered to bring it back. I mean, I was only 25 minutes into dinner time; I hadn't even had time to digest the appetizers! As the days passed, the food quality seemed to take a nosedive, and one night, my table had no napkins, and nobody filled it up. I couldn’t figure out if it was an attempt at an eco-friendly dining experience or just a string of culinary mishaps. Housekeeping decided to challenge my adaptability by not restocking toilet paper and napkins – a surprise scavenger hunt in the bathroom, I suppose. The shoe replacements they provided were like a blind date gone wrong – one pair fresh and new, the other clearly had some sentimental value, complete with its lint collection.
Adding to the ‘quirkiness’ was a lamp at study desk that didn’t even turn on. And no, the 4-star welcome party was a no-show, making me feel like I had gate-crashed my own vacation. The hotel staff, although lovely, seemed to have a unique talent for roping in apprentices, whose innocence could charm anyone. They even kindly suggested I write this review for them – a great show of confidence but, well, the results were, let’s say, a ‘comedy of errors.’ Maybe a mix of seasoned pros and enthusiastic rookies could keep the entertainment going.
But the view was great, although please remove the unnecessary stickers on the rooftop branding the hotels name. Or arrange the aesthetic to suit a 4-star hotel. The indoor plants are great but peace lilies need indirect light, maybe take plant consultation for the -1 levels. Thank you for your service, hoping my next stay will allow me to give you 4...
Read moreLast year I booked this hotel for my family and they gave a very good feedback so I decided to enjoy all facilities with my son and friend but it was a disaster I would say. Most horrible part was a sink full of vomit in gents changing room for swimming. Disgusting. Also a big fat rat fall down from the room when I was swimming.
Overpriced and soft trap. We called from airport and staff offered to X amount but when we were checking in, they told us something significant saying it was a mistake from their side. If it was a mistake and they realized then they were supposed to call us. A soft business trap.
This hotel is not for domestic/neplease customers as you can feel and sense totally Indian vibes. From breakfast to service its made for India. Not any problem with Indian tourists but I did not see any continental or neplease breakfast. When I asked, they said because of Indian tourists, all veg and without onion and garlic. It was a shocking moment for me. Very limited option for breakfast. I asked for aloo paratha and it was chargeable. Yogurt was sweet and I had to throw. Hotel Barahi wins the game. Though it's a bit expensive.
Even after requesting a nice view room they tried to be smart and sell the room which was facing to someone private property and we could see inside the room and funny part was it was absolutely covered.
Low quality toiletries doesn't justify the price.
Good thing. Beds were very comfortable. Good sized room Staff is nice. Property at prime location Infrastructure is a plus point.
Suggestion: Try to be domestic...
