I am near the end of a one month stay here and have had a super delightful experience! Upon arrival, I was met at the airport by Mr. Arjun, the owner. He was kind and helped me with everything I needed, carrying my heavy bag and making pleasant small talk. As I got to know him a bit (there is a cool courtyard the people hang out at and chat - German, Nepali, Spanish, Italian and me), I realized that it's a family business combined with a 5 star trekking company. The room is normal and needs a bit of sprucing up, but for the price I paid for the deluxe room, I was very happy. I have had all three meals at the restaurant, as well as a few family dinners, all of which were delicious - maybe a tiny bit more expensive then restaurants in the area, but worth it - Arjun brings it up to the room if you ask too! The hot water is hot and the air conditioner works great. There are inexpensive laundry facilities and 24 hour service at the front desk. It is a one minute walk from Lakeside drive, and a much more relaxed vibe. Arjun is one of the best hosts I have encountered. Being a travel agent, I stay at all types of properties and this little 1-2 star gem is one of my global favorites! I stayed at Travel Inn in Lakeside during my recent trip, and I have to say, the experience was really pleasant. From the moment I arrived, the owner made me feel welcome. He’s one of the most humble and genuine people I’ve met in the hospitality business, always smiling, always ready to help and it felt like he truly cared about making my stay comfortable. That kind of personal touch is hard to find these days.

The service throughout my stay was excellent. Whether it was asking for local recommendations, needing something extra for the room, or just casual chats about the area, the staff were quick, polite, and friendly. It didn’t feel like a formal hotel environment — more like being hosted by people who actually want you to enjoy your time in Lakeside.

The rooms themselves are average, clean, simple, and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but they have everything you need for a decent night’s sleep. If you’re looking for luxury, this might not be it, but if you value cleanliness, comfort, and genuine hospitality, it’s perfect.

This hotel is good for visiting and the food items is great.Everything is well-managed. The mangement team is like the family. Everything you ask you can get in time. And what about room you wanna know it have a great room according to the prices.You can get comfort and clean room. It have a attach bathroom where we can get hot water easily. Location is great and you can go to the top of the roof and you can look beautiful mountain in the morning. It have 2 min distance towards fewa lake. We can get many services from this hotel just like wanna go trekking ; sideseen or anythingelse everything is available.
