Hostel Nepal — Hotel in Pokhara

Positives: Beautiful rooftop lounge and bar with a pool table and lovely lake views A few steps from the water down the lane Very convenient central location Pleasant staff Proper hot showers

Negatives: Wifi was too unstable to use it for much Ugly character-less unpleasant room block. Ladies' dorm had no fan or good natural airflow or AC Trash outside my dorm window that looked like it had been there for months I waited a day and a half for my laundry and all my panties came back wet My friend staying there did laundry and they completely lost a pair of his pants Housekeeping was very slow in the rooms. The rules sign in the dorm was unnecessarily cold and unpleasant. There were mosquitos in my dorm, not the hostel's fault necessarily but just something to be aware of about the location. Price didn't feel worth it relative to other places

There are more consistently pleasant hostels for a better price in Pokhora unless location and rooftop lake view is all you care about.

To the staff, the hostel has fantastic bones and a great location; it's about the little things... introduce some character to the room block so it has less of a prison vibe, and take a bit more care with the details, and you could have the best hostel...

A new, cool and really chill hostel with exceptional staff. I've been in a few hostels by now and made my experiences and I instantly felt connected to this place and its people. I came here for a night and ended up staying for a few days. The terrace is big and great for hangouts and relaxing days. The second smaller terrace is perfect for yoga or similar activities. The view is fantastic. There are movie nights and other events like BBQs which is a nice addon. The breakfast options are solid and a good alternative to the local food around. The rooms have different sizes but even the smaller ones are spacey enough for my needs and the lockers/storage under the beds are a big plus. The beds are very big and comfortable and the curtains offer some good privacy. The hostel is overall clean and the staff tries their best to keep it that way. I definitely recommend this Hostel to people that want a place with modern quality, cool staff and a hangout area to relax or...
