We stayed here four nights in early Oct. 2020 when tourism was down due to COVID. We truly enjoyed our trip to Pokhara and our stay in this hotel. We got the rooms at a very reasonable price and they were very much worth the cost. The rooms were clean, there was plenty of hot and cold water, the complementary breakfast was simple but tasty and filling, the staff was very gracious and helpful, and service was excellent. The restaurant is located on the topmost floor, with outdoor and indoor parts. The Fewa Lake is in nice, close view and when the weather is clear, you will also get a gorgeous view of the snow-capped mountains. The restaurant staff, other than the wonderful taste of the food, was extra and very helpful in every way for room-in services, even in "menial" things like bringing ice for soda. Oh, and eating at the hotel restaurant, you are given a kind 10% discount.||||And like one of the rooms we stayed in, quite spacious rooms are also available. The names of the rooms are the names of the Himalayan mountains, which we thought were nice and interesting. All the decorations were pleasant and attractive. There is no walled-in area for parking so we had to park in the street just outside the building, but the staff was always watching and ready to help us in parking.||||The hotel is right on the street close to the lakeside, but we did not find it to be affected by traffic noise — maybe because we stayed on the second floor and because there were a lot less people in this area than usual. And being so close to the center gave us easy access to the lake, shops, and restaurants. Overall, we had a great and wonderful experience at Hotel Mountain Top.||||We definitely recommend this hotel to others!||||Thank you, Ashik Ji and all the staff, for all the kind and wonderful accommodations and best...

Read moreI never saw the previous Hotel Mountain Top but let me assure you that from looking at previous traveller photos on Trip Advisor that this place has recently had a MAJOR upgrade! The rooms now look incredible, and actually much nicer than many places I have stayed in, in London and Europe. ||||The rooms are spacious, clean, lots of hot water, but also the theme/ brand of the hotel is consistent throughout (blue and white) which I have struggled to find previously in Nepal. It's the attention to detail that really makes Hotel Mountain Top a cut above the rest (trust me I have stayed in approx 15 hotels in Pokhara!) Each room is named after a famous mountain which is a nice touch. ||||At the top of the hotel there is also a Bar called Altitude - the highest bar in Pokhara with exceptional lake and mountain views (see photos). Make sure you check it out! Food is great with a huge range of cocktails on offer. Friday nights are super fun there with live music and a great atmosphere.||||I cannot fault this hotel one bit - it's a must if you are staying here and don't let previous reviews / photos put you off! ||||P.S - wi-fi is...
