I was supposed to stay in another resort and thankfully i‘ve changed it last minute to Aissatou. I didn‘t even know it has a famous (and the best) Kitesurfing School in Boracay. Boracay has always been one of my favorite islands and i have usually stayed on the other side- White Beach, staying at different resorts (Hennan at Station 1, Sheridan at Station 3, Movenpick at Station 1 and some others at Station 2). So what i‘m trying to say is, it is such a happy accident that i‘m staying at Aissatou, best decision ever! ||Best||☑️ Room- you would never find a huge room like this at this price point. Huge bed- makes me want to just stay and continue sleeping😂. Huge bathroom- i didnt expect this so i‘m very much satisfied and the best part? The balcony overlooking the beach! Imagine having a room with a balcony facing the ocean?||☑️ AC and water heater- Before i sleep, i always turn off the AC because it‘s really cold and i have a pacific islander body 😂. And the water heater? Such a treat after Kitesurfing and you shower and the heater works perfectly. ||☑️ Staff- they are my favorite! So thoughtful and attentive. Imagine, they look for you when your food is ready. They even deliver it to your room! It is such a personalized service. And my room is always clean. I‘m even embarrassed sometimes because my things were all over the place 😂 |Thanks so much to Bambi, Neri, Jojo, Kuya Ben, DBoy, Mike.||☑️ Location location location! The sunrise on this side of the island is just wow! How could have i missed this before? And there‘s so much island vibe on this side. What i usually do is stay here the entire day, do Kitesurfing or just swimming, or walking on the beach, sometimes biking, and then I just walk to the other side for the sunset and then come here for peace and quiet.||☑️Owners- amazing and very kind people! I‘m very much thankful to Ate Aisa and Win for making my stay here wonderful. Exceptional service! One time, my online purchase arrived and i didnt know Ate Aissa paid for it first. She said i was in the water and it was really no problem. She also arranged for my transpo to the island. And, when i needed to see a doctor, she brought me to the doctor‘s place.||☑️Community- i never associated community before to Boracay because i used to only travel here for 3 nights or so. But this time, i‘m experiencing it here in Aissatou. Beautiful people! There was this instance that i was on my laptop in my room and i saw from my window, the happy people downstairs. So i just went down, grabbed a beer and eased myself into the conversation 😂 The people here, the friends of Ate Aissa and Win are very very welcoming. ||Not so best:|None! I‘m really enjoying my stay here and i don‘t think i‘ll have the same experience had i stayed in another resort especially at White Beach. It‘s really the people here that is making my stay wonderful. The rooms and everything else are just an added bonus! Super worth it. I have already extended my stay and is extending again 😂 I can‘t...

Pros -Nice view with own balcony -clean -has tv, ref, kettle etc (as indicated in listings)
Cons ❌VERY NOISY- you can hear people CLEARLY talking in the stairs, hearing their doors opening/closing and hearing the upper room walking ANYTIME. ❌CANNOT SLEEP- drapes are too thin and color white that the light during the day and LIGHT FROM THE OUTSIDE during at night are coming in from your window and you cannot sleep because of it.if you are used to sleep in dark room or light sleeper like us you will have trouble sleeping .I only had 2-3hours of sleep a day and sadly i got fever and not feeling well till our last night due to fatigue (lack of sleep). We havent enjoy our vacation and no choice but to keep our stay in our room. ❌LYING STAFF- the staff always lying when you needs help, like turning off the light outside your window during at night(we did complaint 3 times because we are light sleepers)but no help at all, there are times that we borrowed mugs but told us they havent thats why they gave us glass but returned it cuz it might break if we pour hot water on it.We looked for the owner and gladly she gave us mug.As our problem arise in many cases on the ff nights, we demand to talk to her but the staff were lying and told us she was busy.Thats why we cant complain formally. ❌AIRCONDITIONING- Ac is not cold even its set in coolest mode(17°).You always need to use the electric fan. ❌GENERATOR SHUT OFFS- you will experience many shut offs in a day and it may disturb you during your sleep. ❌SINK ALWAYS CLOGGED- this is always stressed us out because we have to wait for few hours for the water to come down and we cant use it most of the time. ❌HOUSEKEEPING- since i have a fever since our 3rd day(9days of stay)i want to stay our on our room but the boy named mike asked us that he has schedule to clean the room on the next day and we agreed to stroll outside so he can clean( we agreed even i want to rest because we are shy to decline him). The next day came and after we went from the stroll, the room is not clean at all. They said they forgot, and they said they will clean it that day but my husband told them we need to rest and they insist to schedule again tomorrow ( i was burning from fever but agreed to their demand again). Then another next day we went outside AGAIN(even i am not feeling well and not rested well due to the noises i heard)so they can clean the room and finally the room was cleaned. We rented a room but gave us alot of HASSLE & INCONVENIECE.
We didnt enjoy our 9 DAYS OF STAY in Boracay because we stayed in Aissatou. We booked a room away from Noisy white beach but still end up the same. We booked a room for our comfortability but we experience alot of STRESSFUL HAPPENINGS.
I dont recommend staying here and will not booking again to Aissatou beach resort...
Read moreI had my trip to Boracay in Feb 2020 right when the wind and water were perfect to learn kitesurfing. I met Jerry during my walk along the beach and that moment I understood that Jerry can be a great instructor for me and my 11 years old daughter to learn kitesurfing. Jerry introduced me to all the Aissatou team and I felt very comfortable and warm welcomed at their school. All Aissatou team were super friendly and supportive. Jerry managed to teach me kitesurfing and I got on the board on the 3rd day of my lessons. My daughter managed to almost get on the board on the 5th day of her education. When I completed my education and got a license to be a solo renter of the kitesurfing gear I was happy to stay at Aissatou and rent the kite and the board with a good discount from their rental and I had all support from Aissatou team. The guys provided me with the best equipment and I had a great time on the water. Benny who is a manager of the rental at Aissatou gave me his personal harness for my kitesurfing sessions when I could not find a proper size harness at the school shelf. In between my kitesurfing sessions, it was also great to chill on the bar of Aissatou in the shadow of the trees, having a cup of coffee or fresh juice or some snacks. Why I also think Aissatou is great spot is that the school and resort area is located just on the beach area so you do not need to cross the road when you need to get to/off the beach with your kite and the chill area is just almost on the beach so I did have a feeling that I had all in one place like the beach and the resort and the school and the rental. Special thanks to Jerry who helped me a lot with some personal issues I had on Boracay during my stay and also thanks to Jerry for being my and especially my daughter instructor for kitesurfing, I'm quite sure my daughter could not have any better...
