Since i never got a reply to from management after asking numerous times for their email addresses. or even an acknowledgement. I decided to just post it here in the hopes that the management can read this.....

Dear...... ,

I trust this letter finds you well. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Banana Bay Hotel for a 7-day experience, and I am writing to share my observations and provide constructive feedback regarding certain aspects of my stay.

Before delving into the details, I want to express my genuine appreciation for the excellent service, food and the unbeatable location of Banana Bay Hotel. The food exceptional, and the location undoubtedly added to the charm of my stay.

Now, to the aspects that I believe warrant your attention for enhancement:

Noise Disturbance: During the second and third days of my stay, I encountered significant noise disturbances originating from the room above mine. Despite alerting the Front Desk via WhatsApp, the issue persisted for several days. The early-morning cleaning activities also contributed to the disturbance. While the Front Desk did make efforts to address the matter, it would be beneficial to reinforce policies that promote a peaceful and quiet environment for all guests trying to maximize rest and sleep while on vacation.

Allergies: As a highly asthmatic individual, I experienced persistent allergies throughout my stay, likely triggered by the pillows or comforters. I suggest considering alternative options such as hypoallergenic bedding or offering backup pillows for guests with allergies to down feathers.

Power Outage and Exhaust Fumes: On the last night of my stay, a power outage led to the use of generators, resulting in strong exhaust fumes entering my room. We had to wet our towels and put it on the bottom our door to stop the fumes from entering but to no avail. Half of the rubber strip of the door was missing. This was a serious concern, particularly for someone with respiratory issues. The Front Desk was responsive and provided an alternative room to ensure our comfort for the night. However, I recommend evaluating and improving the exhaust system to prevent such occurrences in the future as exposure and inhalation of CARBON MONOXIDE is very dangerous and can lead to other things......

I want to emphasize that my intention in sharing these experiences is not to seek any form of compensation. Rather, I am writing out of concern and a genuine desire to contribute positively to the continuous improvement of Banana Bay Hotel.

I took some time before composing this letter, as I wanted to ensure it reflects constructive criticism rather than a mere list of grievances. I also want to assure you that, despite these challenges, I have already booked another stay at your resort, as I genuinely believe in its potential.

As someone involved in the F&B industry and recently having partnered with another resort, I understand the complexities of managing a hotel. I trust that your dedication to excellence will address these concerns, and I look forward to witnessing positive changes during my next visit.

Thank you for your attention, and I appreciate your commitment to providing an exceptional...

Could be perfect 5 stars. But..

Stayed for 2 nights at Banana Bay Boracay. Overall, it was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable with a relaxing tropical vibe. Staff were friendly, respectful, and clearly trained to be welcoming. They greeted us with smiles, were accommodating, and did their best to provide information. The menu was also a pleasant surprise - thoughtfully curated with options from different cuisines like Filipino, German, Thai, Indian, and American etc. There was a short brownout, but power came back quickly, likely through a generator. No gym, but that didn’t really bother us.

Now here’s why I felt the need to write a review. Upon check-in, we received a voucher for complimentary happy hour drinks. It said “one time use only” and “non-transferable,” which I respected. But what I don’t understand is why we only received one voucher when we booked for two nights. The voucher even had both dates printed on it. I assumed we’d get a set of drinks each night - that would’ve made sense. On Day 1 we weren’t able to claim it, which I’m fine with if it was forfeited. But when I asked on Day 2 if we could claim for both days, I was told the policy is one-time use only, regardless of the length of stay.

When I questioned it, the explanation given by the front desk staff (Jeno) was that we only get one set unless we booked two separate stays - meaning we’d have to check out and check in again to qualify for another. That made no sense. The logic of the policy wasn’t clear, and the way it was explained felt more dismissive than helpful.

I’m not upset over the free drinks. I’m more bothered by the inconsistency in the policy and how it was communicated. If you’re going to offer a perk tied to a stay, at least make the terms make sense or explain them clearly and respectfully.

Would I stay again? Yes. The hotel is peaceful, staff are generally kind, and the stay was pleasant. But this is one of those small things that can leave a guest confused and a bit disappointed. A little more clarity and common sense in how policies are applied would...

My family and I recently stayed at Hotel Banana Bay on Boracay from December 26th to January 13th, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Located on Bulabog Beach, the hotel enjoys a prime spot – peaceful, away from the crowds, and right next to a fantastic kite and windsurfing area.

We stayed in two top-floor rooms, perfect for our group of four, including one child. The rooms were thoughtfully designed, featuring air conditioning, a mini-fridge, comfortable beds, and a decent balcony where we could unwind. The hotel exudes tranquillity, making it an ideal choice for relaxation.

What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding staff. They were always polite, smiling, and genuinely cared about our well-being. Their attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome, and they were always happy to assist with any request.

The included breakfasts were a delightful surprise – some of the best I’ve had at any hotel! The on-site restaurant also served amazing food, so we found ourselves dining there quite often. A particularly thoughtful gesture was on our departure day; despite leaving at 5 a.m., well before breakfast hours, the staff prepared a breakfast-to-go for us. It’s little touches like this that truly set Banana Bay apart.

Overall, Banana Bay offers excellent value for its price point. They consistently exceed expectations, delivering an experience that punches well above their weight. We left with happy hearts and would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a serene and delightful stay in Boracay.

Five stars...

After staying 5 nights in the banana bay Borocay I would like to give my review to the Hotel and the services. We received a nice room with a great bathroom & balcony, AC and a fan. Cleaning service was done properly and exchange of towels worked great. Even the laundry service was excellent. The food in the Hotel is great. Even though the breakfast menu is a bit monotonous the quality is amazing. The people working there are really nice and offer you a very welcome service. Finally I would also like to point out some improvement areas I discovered during my stay. 1) AC in the room was hard to control and way too cold, no matter how the settings were choosen. We both got sick after couple of days and switched the AC off completely. 2) provided water bottles were dirty so we could not use them. 3) the smell in the room was not good. Smelt moldy. 4) cleaning of the Pool was not done properly. We saw 2 days in a row the same trash in the pool. 5) pool towels provided by the staff have always been dirty - they should be replaced. Summing it up, I would recommend the Hotel as the location is great and value for money is in good balance. There are some minor improvements to make but there is no Hotel without.
