Shenna's Beach Resort — Hotel in Malay

I recently stayed at Shenna’s Beach Resort and honestly, it was a disappointing experience. The first thing that stood out was how different the rooms looked compared to the photos online. We stayed in room 305 and it hadn’t been cleaned properly before we checked in as the table between the beds was still sticky. The bathroom was even worse; it smelled bad because there was no ventilation, we saw bugs, and the shower head was loose to the point where we had to use the tabo instead. The balcony screen curtain was dirty and dusty, and there were stains on the walls that made the place feel neglected. By the second day, the toilet flush stopped working, and despite telling the staff multiple times, no one came to check or fix it. At this point, it felt more like a run-down motel than a proper hotel. Duration stayed. Mid-March 2023 for 4 nights.

Rooms are clean. No smell. No insects. At least not mine.

A bit dark.

Water pressure is ok. Shower head need to change as mine is not normal. It has only 3 holes spraying at normal pressure.

Suggest to install bidet.

There is a place to hang ootd. But I wud like to suggest adding some behind the door as it's more convenient. And also good for hanging wet towels.

Have a bin in the room as well.

I think there is free wifi service. But not at my place. Do call the front desk for help.

Update pictures of the resort onto the website. As the old pic is showing facing the beach. Which actually is not. With this I took 1 star from 'location'
