Just stayed here and it’s alright, the reviews scared me a bit prior to my stay. It wasn’t as bad as I was worried for it to be.

Very Noisy, I couldn’t get a good sleep due to trucks outside and outside noise. This is just due to central location and not a fault of the hotel. During the day time you have the sounds of the restaurants and bustling city which is nice, but come 1am when you’re trying to sleep the trucks are very annoying 😅 Slightly uncomfortable bedding I woke up with a bit of a crick in my neck The room was thoroughly cleaned each day, although I got a pizza the first night and they never took the pizza box away for the entirety of my trip which was a bit weird 😂 Excellent location!! Very central, walking distance to everywhere in central Lisbon! Excellent public transportation system in Lisbon. Friendly front desk staff. I didn’t get the breakfast so I can’t comment. There’s plenty of lovely breakfast/brunch spots around Lisbon I recommend you try them out. Dear Breakfast, Seventh Brunch, Augusto, The Folks Sé for example. Luggage storage is a great bonus so you can explore the city after check out/prior to check in without your luggage on you!

Overall I enjoyed my stay. It wasn’t half as bad as I expected. It’s a 1 star hotel you can’t expect much it’s no 5 star resort nor does it claim to be but it’s decent for the price I payed! It’s a bit outdated so keep in mind if you like modern decor. It’s a safe area & hotel which is important to me as a female travelling solo. I recommend for the...

Don't even think about booking at LX Rossio hotel. The room was cheap for a reason. Needs urgent improvement and care. It looks like a room that got stuck in the 70s. We were given a room that wasn't the room we booked for. Take a look in the pictures, you'll see that the reality was completely different from the expectation. Basically the hotel has only renovated 4 rooms and used those photos to show costumers how the hotel looks like, which is a lie. Here's some math about the hotel: the hotel has 32 room, which 16 are standard double rooms (the room type we booked for). 4 of those 16 are renovated. So if you do a quick math you can see that more than 75% of the customers are being fooled by the pictures. The first room we were put on was very old, run down, horrible smell, beds were hard, walls with cracks, old smelly carpet (the old stained carpet was around the whole hotel). The wifi couldn't be detected anywhere apart from the lobby. When we went to speak to the employee in the lobby about the situation, and the fact that we were given a room completely different from what we booked, the employee showed no will to try to help or or do anything for us. He told us to fill a complaint and that they would take care of it later. The hotel actually gave me an allergic reaction. Breakfast was terrible. Just bread and jam. The only good thing was the location, although quite noisy, so just book another hotel in the same area, you'll get...

· Only good thing: Location

Worst experience ever. Even if the Location is good, we would never stay here again. The pictures are NOT accurate. We arrived around 8 pm and did the normal check in. Staff was already not welcoming. Then we made our way to our room. The second we entered the room I was shocked about how bad our room looked. It was in a terrible state and definitely not clean. So we went back to ask for another room and tell them about how bad the current room is. Now here it comes: the staff told us in Portuguese "Unfortunately there is only one other room available which is WORSE. The staff itself said that it is WORSE. After talking to each other we decided to stay in this room, since we were only there for one night and only to sleep.

On the next day we checked out of the hotel and asked politely if we could leave our luggage with them in a self place. They gave us a key to a cleaning room where we could leave it behind... We were already not sure if that was the best idea, but we only wanted to get a quick lunch to leave after. After lunch we went to pick up the luggage and of course the whole door of the cleaning room was open and everyone in the hotel could have easily taken our luggage.

Long story short - there are other much better hotels with a great...

Good location not far from everything that you could want to visit in oldtown. The Elevator is a block away and is right next to the Starbucks. The rooms are Euro style, small, quaint with wood lamented flooring. The bathrooms offer a shower wand as well as the multi spout head. The sink is morden and pretty decent. The toilet flushes extremely well. No bars of soap, they have liquid gel dispensers in the shower and next to the sink. If you stay on the east side you will have a view of the walk ways below you and the buildings across the way. The french doors open all of the way to give you fresh aind light. The closet has plenty of hangers, no iron though. A desk, refrigerator, nightstands, corner chair and a flat screen. Comes with wifi. Bring the euro plus with the circular molding to charge your non UK/US devices safely. The Metro is 3 blocks away and the train station is 5 blocks up the way, so if you want to head to Sintra it is a very short walk to the station. This was base camp for a week. Not a bad choice.
