I came here because I have a minimum requirement of 4.5 to even enter any restaurant, but that theory doesnât always work. In this case, I was rewarded for holding true to my standards. This place started with a 4.6 according to Google reviews. Good starting point from my book. After perusing the menu, Madani, my waiter offered a few suggestions or alterations to my menu for a very late lunch of tapas. I didnât feel like a specific meal but more like snacking. At the end, I ate a ton. I had the shrimp in garlic, the roasted shishito peppers, the garlic pizza bread with Parmesan and some piri-piri sauce on top that the waiter brought me after it was served and some bruschetta on toast that had the best cherry tomatoes (I needed some vegetables in my life). Everything was delicious. I also ordered .5 of the red sangria which was honestly some of the best sangria Iâve ever had. Sometimes it is too sweet or too bitter or whatever. This time it was a perfect refreshing balance with some mint leaves rhat added a little something special. I almost didnât come here because I was looking for something more Portuguese having just come from Napoli and having just had the best pizza of my life, but I trusted my review theory and took a risk. I am so glad I did. And the wait staff was super attentive and kind. This was a great afternoon tapas/dining experience. Iâm so glad I came here. My bill was 55.10 euros and...

Wait staff just lies to your face.. the âfreshly squeezed orange juice scamâ. Despite confirming that the juice was freshly squeezed and getting a response of âyes it was squeezed in the morningâ, so there was no language barrier confusion, what you get is âŹ4.50 small glass of orange juice concentrate clearly from a tetra pack.
The waitress said the sauce with the fried shrimp in garlic is tasty and so we should get some bread for dipping, which we did. The sauce was near tasteless.
The reviews of this place have all the green flags, 4.7 stars, 500+ reviews, great pics of the interior and the food. However when you get there you start to see the red flags immediately:
Sadly, we had reserved a table through Google and felt we had to eat there despite the res flags. Lesson learned.
Oh btw, they only...

DO NOT waste your time and calories here.
Carbonara was meant to have pancetta, but itâs just turkey bacon. I confirmed a few times with the staff asking if they had freshly squeezed orange juice, only to be rudely challenged. I was clearly served concentrate and the staff jutted out his chin and raised his voice that it was fresh,
Their tables are also shaky and when a couple beside us tried to help the staff stabilise the table, they were scolded instead to not move.
[edit] we ordered octopus, carbonara, a beer and an orange juice.
The octopus was CHEWY and tough, your jaw will HURT.
Also, our plates wasnât garnished like the other tables.
At the end of the meal, we were sincere about giving feedback to the manager, but he took it so poorly. He GLARED at me and shouted: âif itâs not good, why did you finish the foodâ? We DID NOT finish the food because it was so bad. Tough and tasteless octopus and shitty pasta. He said we were the only one who found it bad. Look at the poor reviews.
Manager who is not open to feedback and rude.
When we were leaving, he stood at the door to shout at us.
Worst experience in Lisbon....
