LV Premier Chiado Apartments — Hotel in Lisbon

One of my most traumatic accommodations throughout Europe that I have stayed at. There were flies and mosquitoes throughout the unit. We lost count how many mosquitoes we killed on our first day inside the unit. Took a couple photos of the ones we killed by the window. The bathroom smelled so badly we thought there were dead animals in there. The stench was horrible. The staff wasn’t able to provide us with another apartment as the building was fully booked. They did try to help us kill the mosquitoes and put air fresheners inside the unit including bathroom. Couple days after we stayed at the apartment, we had to endure raw sewage throughout the main entrance and common areas of the building. We were surprised that the maintenance team didn’t bother to air out the main entrance and all common area with disinfectant and purifier. Absolutely fantastic apartment in a superb location with most attractions within walking distance. We had one bedroom, an open kitchen/living room and a bathroom. The apartment has a dishwasher, a washing machine and a dryer. There is one closet for clothes. The apartment was clean and well equipped for making food and we even received a welcome gift as shown in one picture. The view is to H&M and the apartment is located in a pedestrian street. So going there by taxi or Uber, you should stop by the Armazèns shopping mall. There are lots of people outside and lots of street musicians there (look forward to the saxophone player! There can be noisy outside, but it’s usually quiet by 23.00. The only criticism is that there isn’t a drying rack. They should invest in that for guests’ convenience. We had a lovely time here. The owner was so kind and showed us around and gave us tips for Lisbon. Fantastic location. Had a washer / dryer, kitchen, fridge, iron, everything you could need. We loved leaving the windows open and hearing the sounds of the street and music performers. Only small downside is the double bed was two twins pushed together which was tough for us as a couple because we prefer sleeping close and the beds drifted apart if you laid on the "seam."
