Wahm Lounge Doha — Restaurant in Doha

Wahm Lounge Doha January 20th 2020, Friends and I came for several times to this lounge to enjoy drinks and chill out, it was being one of place that we would love to choose for meet up and recommended to relatives and acquaintances but this impression will be sure enough to change after 1 experience. On January 20th, 2020 around 21:40 pm, my friends and I were standing on the entrance waiting the queue line and one of the security stop us, saying that guests without reservation would not be permitted enter, I felt odd because I noticed the security saying nothing about this reservation thing to 3 ladies in front of me, first ring in my head; I noticed what a different treatment! Forgive me If I was wrong. Because this experience felt odd for us then we let one of our friends that came late for meet up to go to Wahm Lounge, to see what would be their responded. Then the respond was they letting her in without reservation. Then we went back to the entrance and there was a different security man, he opened the delimiter, but the previous same security saw us and said "back off, back off!" he sent us out from the delimiter, and we explain that one of our friend had been inside, and he kept on saying about needed reservation. Till then we had arguments about why we could not enter while one of our friends had entered without reservation. As we observed the difference here was only outfit that we wore. We wore casual long pants, casual tops, and flat boots while other friend wore mini shorts, tight luring tops outfit, and heels. The security decided to call the lounge manager/supervisor to deal with our concern. Manager/supervisor tried to convince that it was not about the outfit reason. He lectured us that they have the authority to reject guests for some good reasons, which I was also agree with him, but he kept repeating " do you understand?' More than 3 times, it seems the manager/supervisor thought we all were deaf or simply could not understand English. The manager/supervisor said that he could let us enter the lounge unless one of our friends would leave his jackets at the entrance, apparently this was also one of the reason we could not enter, but the security was not saying anything about it at the first place. The manager/supervisor opened the delimiter then said " so you still want to enter Wahm Lounge?", When I saw my watch it was already around 11 pm and with all the difficulties for chill out and drinks, the feeling was turn off for Wahm Lounge! We changed venue for chill out and drinks. We had known later on that it was ladies night and ladies free flow chosen drinks, we were not aware of this offer until we experienced this entrance incidents, because we used to hang out at Wahm Lounge for random occasions. if the purposed was to limit ladies entering the lounge during the free flow drinks hours then think of other win win solution programs or just do not have ladies night event because anyway access will be limited to certain ladies according to prejudgment, and last night experience it was not only about must have reservation to enter the lounge, because we had proofed already how they decided who can and cannot enter the lounge. Was the some minutes ago n had difference with one guy but eventually the white Holland guy ordered me to be moved out of the club n blocked me to ever go there, the case was I approached some two men seated alone n they had a space so they told me it's fine to join them later one guy came with a crowd of like 5pple n told me to move out of the place,ok might be twas reserved n twas around 12:57 an hour to close down,since I had two beers n a glass of vodka for my cousin n three handbags for myself, my cousin n one friend on the dancing hall ,I requested the guy to give me just a minute to call them since I can't handle to pick all the stuff, later the arrogant guy picked the vodka glass which was for my cousin n told me if I wont move out he will smash it on me but I told him just wait there are just nearby ok after all even the friends he had were telling him to calm down since twas logic couldn't handle all the stuffs by once....but later the story changed n he complained n that's how I was blocked...short message to the manager learn to listen to both sides coz I had even explained the issue to ur security.....anyway see u soon life in doha is short u never know where ul find urself in the next hours,,be cool to all guests equally n work...

The bar looks really luxurious and glamorous but below is my first experience: I reserved just for myself at 10 and they confirmed over the phone but when I reached there the reception was like you need to have at least 2 because its a weekend and but anyways they took me in. Completely unnecessary when there's a line waiting behind me. I ordered a long Island and some salad. It was good. I finished my drink and I'm waiting for like 30 minutes to place the next order because no one's bothered to come toy table. I couldn't even spot any waiter around who even looks at me so that I can call them over. Finally the lady at the reception came to my table and asked me if I need another drink but I'm sure she just came to check if I'm done. She goes to one of the waiters and places order for another long Island. I was sitting in the inside section so I had to go out to smoke. When they bought my second drink I also called for the bill. I was half my drink down and I went for a smoke. When I come back my drink and salad had been cleared off. And then the waiter comes with the bill.
