Room is good. Staff was friendly to help me with luggage keeping. They also gave me some homemade dried apple. Location here is also pretty good.

They will charge you extra 40CHF/night if you are more than 2, but they will give you an extra bed, so I think that's okay.

As others mentioned, this place has a weird check-in time/check-out time, in addition to the actual hour of operation.

Check-in at 4pm-7pm, checkout at 10am, which is really early for the late check-in time. Reception is also only opened from 4pm-7pm. In my case, they left my key out at the main entrance before even 6pm, where 1 of the 2 key turns out to be incorrect . These mistakes could cause a nightmare.

Forget about reaching out to them via Email, they do not response responsively, not even at a daily level.

Luggage deposit also required you to call ahead of time via phone, as the reception may not be there. I had luck calling them via WhatsApp at least after several attempts. Do not bother message them via WhatsApp messaging, they do not check it.

Sound isolation is not great. I can hear neighbors showering, flushing, then start squeaking their bed intensively for a few minutes, then back to shower and drying their hair all in clear details. Avoid, if you are sensitive to sound. It was really awkward listening to it with my parents.

Personally, I will avoid booking here again mainly due to their office hours and I cannot imagine the pain of having an incorrect key with no reception here. It was also tough to reach them for luggage deposit. I emailed them that I do not have a phone line and I would be arriving early at 10am, but they never responded and I had to try different solutions just to reach them to confirm for luggage keeping.

But these seem to be really good people, and you could get lucky. Seems like I got the worst bit of luck here according to all the other reviews. Hopefully, their communication will improve over time. They also seem to have plan to install AC next year so that's awesome.

Some mentioned here that they don't do daily cleaning, but strangely my room was cleaned when I came back...

We stayed here recenyfor 3 nights and had quite a good experience. The owners are very warm and welcoming. They are always available to help via Whatsapp which is great if you are a tourist in the area! And of course, the views of the Jungfrau from the apartment was breathtaking and picturesque that we didn't even try going to top of Europe!! Few things to be aware of (not show stoppers):

these are basically like airbnb's with full breakfast available at a price - we have to clean the kitchen, run the dishwasher, throw the trash, etc (plus be charged for a cleaning fee like Airbnb)

there is no central air circulation unless we keep the windows open (occasional moths may fly in for the lights but no mosquitoes thankfully). The apartments do come with table/ pedestal fans in each room - so that was super useful end of May. Even at 64/65 F outside ,the apartment was very warm/ hot.

same goes for the bathroom. No exhaust either

while TV's are available in every room, the cable connection is not consistent.

I took away 1 star because the previous occupant in our apartment had apparently flooded the bathroom but we were stuck with wet carpet at the entrance to one of the bathrooms - when we raised this to the owner, the cleaners just put towels on the wet area - this was inconvenient and not to mention lack of air circulation and damp towels don't make the best combination. Since we weren't given a clean apartment, I would have expected them to not charge us the cleaning fee when we left but no such accomodation/ offer was made. Also when the cleaners came in to look at the wet area, they knocked but didn't wait for us to open the door - they just used their master key and walked in. I found this a bit odd but maybe that's how it is in Switzerland.

The prices were comparable to a high-end hotel but the service/ offering was...

Very nice homely apartment. I was amazed by the small details that a homemaker would think of to make your stay very homely. Fully equipped kitchen oven, microwave oven, 2 types of coffee machine, rice cooker, dishwasher with 2-3 detergent tabs, green plant in dining room. Breakfast room is very beautiful and breakfast buffet service is unique - next to your dining table in breakfast room stands fully stacked multilayered breakfast stool with juices, breads, joghurt, jam , nutella, fruits, veggies, cheese, museli, cold cuts. Fresh coffee, chocolate milk, eggs are prepared as requested.

You can sit in beautiful dining room - read, surf, order coffee or drinks .

Laundry room also fully equipped- washing machines, dryer, ironing table again very homely setup.

I forgot my favorite cap in the apartment that they sent me through post.

Those who come with electric car - Congress centre is 5 minutes walk from apartment and they have 2 parking slot for electric cars. Remember, you still have to buy parking ticket for the duration you charge...
