We stayed 3 nights, hotel was oki for the price but felt they let us down by giving us a room with no Ac and had to ask for a fan which they gave but was broken didn't have legs to stand on. We managed to lean it on wall to cool the room as it was so hot and stuffy in the room, even had to leave the window open to which mosquitos started to enter and we had few bites. They never came to clean the rooms at all. But we didn't even ask as didn't really want them coming into our rooms really. But did get the feeling someone did enter our rooms whilst we where out. The shower water didnt drain out easily and flooded up. Towels and toiletries where provided. There's no lifts so had to use stairs which was a pain especially when u have luggages to bring up and down, they staff did help but after a long day of trekking the last thing you need is a flight of stairs to climb up to your room. The stairs where quite steep and uneven had to watch your steps or else could easily trip and fall. The staff where friendly and nice. Carn't fault that. The location is the best to visit the blue mosque and Hagia Sofia Mosque. The terrace had a beautiful view of the sea. Pleanty of restaurants and shops near by....
Read moreThe service was the best I have ever seen. The staff was very friendly. We arrived before our room pick up time and they offered to leave our luggage at hotel while we went for a walk or sit down to drink complimentary Turkish tea at the hotel. They also provided detailed explanations of tourist attractions and answered all our questions.
On the third day of our stay, we needed to go to the Asian part of the city, where they explained in detail how to get there by public transport. On the last day after we vacated the room, they again allowed us to store our luggage with them until we walked around a bit more. And then they assisted us with calling a taxi that accepted card payments.
The location is great and within walking distance of attractions such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi, the Blue Mosque. There is also a supermarket nearby that is open until late. The rooms are excellent for the price. Towels and toiletries are provided and the bathroom has a hairdryer.
I want to give special thanks to Hussain for helping us so much and making the experience...
Read moreThe hotel is not so far from sultan Ahmad. I will absolut recommend this place because of the service we get. Ferdi the manger talk very good English, was serviceminded, help us with the wightgain we have, orded a taxi to the airport which came om time, he is so nice and knew where we could get Turkish lira and knew about all places. They clean your room but you have to say it to them. They have no elevator. Around the corner they have a restaurant and boutique where you can bye water and fruit. The rooms are small so I prefer to say it's for one person even if it's double. There is hot water to bath with hairdryer, shampoo and showergel and soap. I have my own so didn't use it. I 100% will book again in this hotel because of the service...
