First visit to this hotel and overall had a great stay. We visited as a family for a one week stay. Staff are mostly great, you soon work out who is best to approach with queries etc. Particular mention needed for photographer Omer, not only is a fantastic photographer, but is so friendly and engaging, an absolute asset. Also Engin, part of the restaurant staff, was a great host, super helpful and friendly. Food was great, plentiful and varied. The Turkish night was a particular favourite and I loved the array of salad options. Breakfast I enjoyed the variety of eggs on offer, plenty of healthy or indulgent options for every appetite. Lunch had two options - poolside or restaurant. Restaurant lunch was similar to dinner with a variety of salads and hot options. Poolside lunch had family favourites such as burgers, nuggets, chips and salad - all very tasty. The lady making the fresh flatbreads poolside was a gem too, delicious and had different filling options (cheese, chocolate). Ice cream served 3.30 each day - different flavours each day and very tasty. Water, juice and hot drinks are self serve and always available at different locations. Soft drinks, beer and local spirits included within package. Cocktails and some other drinks are chargeable. Air con was great in the room, in fact had to turn it down as got to chilly through the night. Our room for 3 was very small, however had plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage and had a great balcony which was good for drying swim clothes or having a chilled time out. Although small, we didn't spend a great deal of time in the room and it was functional - slept well, good shower and good air con. I did need to ask for an extra pillow that took some negotiation as first ask the chap on reception said no, but then asked someone else and this was accommodated and I slept much better. There was a safe in the room that is an extra charge, we didn't use it and had no issues with any valuables and also didn't really have concerns to that effect either - hotel feels very safe. The pool was great and the venue offered a number of activities for kids, pizza making, dance, face paints etc. Water aerobics, darts, killer pool and water polo were also great for adults (or kids). We didn't stay on site every evening but did enjoy the Kenyan acrobatics, Turkish folk and live singers (did not enjoy listening to the karoke as much though - yes party pooper alert). Good location, 5 mins walk to beach (and boat trips), 3 min drive from cable cars and good shopping in the strip next to hotel. Some good restaurant options if looking for a change of scenery too. A real downside for us was the too relaxed approach with smoking. There was no non smoking areas so had people lighting up all around the pool, lunch areas, dinner areas etc. Really unpleasant as a non smoking family with a child. Seeing people using drinking glasses as ashtrays too is just gross and disrespectful.

This hotel seemed to be one of the largest in Oludeniz city center. The location is really cool, in 7-10 minutes walk from Oludeniz city beach and on the corner of its main street which is packed by restaurants, clubs, souvenir shops and excursion agencies. Hotel looks really nice. Reminds a small town at the foot of the hill, full of pine trees and bushes and you can always see paragliders whenever you look into your window or walk to the restaurant. The pool here is big enough and definitely is a place of attraction for a lot of guests especially with kids. Their animators works hard and everyone was excited especially by night program which lasted till 11pm. But it was a bit annoying for us, coming after a daylong excursion of other sea activities tired it was hard to fall asleep because of loud music. The food was top notch! A great variety of salads and mezes, several types of cheeses for breakfast, even Turkish tea and simits were there to give us that special flavor of local cuisine ❤️ I think there were enough items for everyone. Vegans also won’t be hungry in Karbel. We also had free bottled water which is great advantage of this hotel. The staff was always friendly although barely half of it was speaking English. The rooms were small (we had standard with two beds) and not really new but there were everything needed (towels, bedclothes, shampoo). The main minus for me of this hotel was super bad wifi which I could barely have in the lobby and near the pool. Totally disappeared in room number which was annoying. But still I can recommend it for staying especially for families with kids

Just back from a week here. We had an issue with the rooms 2 separate rooms were booked as our eldest is 16 and treated as an adult. As a result we ended up with split rooms not ideal with a 16 and 12 year old girls! The hotel and TUI reps bent over backwards to correct this though and we were moved rooms to a suite. Rooms have good strong aircon but are a bit dated, the bed was quite firm. They were spotless however. The safes are easy to use. The hotel is a 3 star. As long as you accept that then it's really great. Breakfast was a bit poor, but this is far from unique to this hotel, I just think brits are breakfast fanatics! Snack bar, lunch and tea were very good quality but was more or less the same each day. We felt there wasn't enough sun cover in the main restaurant. At lunch you can struggle to get seated. Queues can be 20 minutes at evening meal time, and again you can struggle to get seated. The staff are really friendly and keen to make the holiday enjoyable. The pool area is a bit lawless! There's no lifeguard on duty so you must watch your kids! The tiles can be slippy, we saw a lot of falls, but thankfully none serious. Usual sunbed scramble occurs at 8am. WiFi is hit and miss, good around the pool area. The first rooms we were in had no WiFi at all, the rooms we moved to had sporadic WiFi. The local area is great with lots of restaurants and shops.

Great location for those who prefer to be close to the beach, restaurants and bars etc. This hotel is very noisy late into the early hours due to the location being close to lots of bars and clubs with loud music. Personally this didn’t bother me but it may be an issue for others. If you want to be somewhere quiet or away from all the hustle and bustle this hotel is not for you. Staff were very friendly and helpful mostly although quite a few have experienced issues upon arrival with rooms. We experienced issues with beds and room size. We were allocated a very small room with only 2 single beds for 3 people. We were told by reception staff upon arrival to share 2 beds between 3 which clearly wasn’t appropriate given we’d booked a room for 3 people. Hotel staff told me they had received a booking for 2 people so weren’t expecting 3 people which is absolute rubbish. We’d booked a package via a tour operator and I showed the reception staff the online booking which included flights and transfers so it’s impossible to say you were only expecting 2 people not 3. As arrival was in the early hours we just wanted to sleep so the back and forth about the booking wasted a number of hours and eventually we gave in and slept on the 2 beds between 3. Later that day we were brought a fold up bed which was placed between the 2 single beds and all pushed together and this just about fit. We decided to get on with it and enjoy our holiday but it was extremely poor only being given 2 single beds for 3 people on arrival at 2am, having travelled and feeling exhausted. |We only booked breakfast and glad we did as food was basic. Those at the hotel that also booked dinner said it was very repetitive and food not great so we were pleased we didn’t book dinner. Lots of restaurants and snack places nearby to eat at to suit all budgets. We loved Tasty Bites under Hangout Reataurant. We did lots of excursions from this location including Jeep Safari and boat trips. We loved Baba Tekins boat and lunch was superb. We really enjoyed Bella Gusto restaurant and VIP bar/club. If doing the jeep Safari be sure to bring a large plastic bag for belongings and a water shooter as well as water shoes. These are more expensive from vendors at the trip. We found Karbel Beach Hotel small but we preferred it to larger hotels. The rooms and hotel were clean although very dated. Towels were not replaced daily and bedding wasn’t replaced at all during our stay. Cleaners were very friendly but the cleaning of the rooms hit and miss. I cleaned up a spillage from the tiles floor and found it was very dirty but this wasn’t obvious due to the red quarry tiled floor. We did have some issues with the room. Only 2 sockets and one didn’t work so we had to use the only other socket which was difficult to get to behind the bed. Thankfully we’d brought an extension lead with various ports but to put everything plugged into it on the floor under the bed. The socket by the door for the room key and power flashed bright lights constantly which was annoying at night when trying to sleep. Both things reported to the reception desk but nothing done to fix it. We did also see Geckos in the shower but it didn’t bother us too much. Wonky toilet roll holder on the wall. Shower didn’t regulate temperature and would give out boiling hot water during showers causing burning so had to be careful when using it. Room check out is 12pm and there a room by the pool with a shower which is handy and luggage can be left at reception so no need for late check out cost. There’s a charge to use the safe in the room so we didn’t bother. Take hangers as the ones in the room as ones visitors have left behind and there’s not many. Complimentary toiletries consist of small round soap bars and liquid shower gel and shampoo but they weren’t very good so we used our own. We found shampoo needed the entire bottle for one wash just to get a lather. Be mindful of buying any drinks and snacks as they can be expensive. A Calippo ice lolly is just under £4 for one! There’s shops next door and nearby that sell everything cheaper. |The hotel does offer fair exchange rates for money change so...

Not happy at all … iv been here nearly two weeks and I cannot wait to go back home .. the food is the worst .. theirs no choices at all .. everyone literally was eating chips tonight because theirs never no food .. or they put rice out and nothing to go with it . When I say theirs option of food there literally is no option of food .. some days they do kebab meat which is nice but then you get a bad belly ache from it … first few days is always nice because your away and it seems new but then you get to see the real side of things .. theirs never no sunbeds .. it always smells like urine around the pool or drains or even poo my hotel room stinks of urine .. the last few nights we haven’t been out much as we literally can’t wait to go home and all I can smell is urine ..last week a kid must of pooed threw their nappy a a poo trail was their I was of told the parent but I didn’t see it happen I told the staff and so did two other people after me did too they literally come and see it out their hands on their head and just didn’t clean it up for a good half hour 40 minutes and you could really smell it I had to warn people to be careful because they never put any sort of sign or cone out .. iv iv got is harassment down the strip with the Pervy men .. I don’t even want to go out my hotel or down the strip because iv literally had enough of this place .. the entertainment is rubbish literally theirs one good show they have and after a week you end up watching it all over again on the second week .. even the kids mini disco is the same over and over again .. it’s very clear Turkish people don’t like the English they are very very fake to your face until get the money out then after they be laughing as you walk off and look back .. I really have crossed turkey off my list .. I went on a quad biking trip today and they racist and don’t even realise it they was telling me story’s of today what they was saying to people and in England you really couldn’t say any of them things .. he goes English people can’t take a joke .. but I’m sure if we said something about their religion or believes they wouldn’t take it nicely either .. if you have kids theirs nothing to do for the kids during the day or the adults . They don’t even do water arboics anymore. It’s literally depressing here I can’t wait to go home. Iv stayed in my hotel last two nights I haven’t even gone in the pool today because of it all .. I even said to the reception about it today after food which everyone only eating chips and they said themselfs their loosing us too soon… says a lot don’t it really. I could literally go on and on but iv said enough for now .. I will be taking it further when I get back to England with the people I booked with as they don’t care anyways if your English. They only laugh behind your back once you walked away. Iv never been so bored in my life unless we went on trips and spent the day away...
