The staff is not very friendly, and on top of that I got robbed from the person who cleans the room. I called the police, they checked the cameras, only one lady was in my room cleaning during the day that all my jewelry was stolen. The Hotel did not apologize, was not attentive to solve my problem or accept what was happening. The manager accused me of lying and losing my things. I explained a thousand times that I found my backpack open with all the clothes out, and that was not how I had left it. I also explained that my jewelry were hidden in a pocket inside the backpack and the person turned my things over with the intention of stealing from me. All my explanations were of no use, the police were of no use, they couldn't do anything. What made me most sad was the neglect of the owner and the manager hotel, who never welcomed me or apologized. they did not accept that I was claiming that I had been robbed.||The day after it happened, after I checked out, the hotel canceled my reservation on Booking, claiming that I was not there. I believe that they did this so I couldn't write any reviews about what happened. I am in contact with Booking.com and I hope they can help me to reverse this situation and have my reservation completed on the platform, so that I can leave my report to...
Read moreThis was the first time in Cappadocia and staying here was the best decision. This is the place you imagine when you think of going to Cappadocia. Everything was perfect. All personnel is very kind and helpful and trying to make your stay the best possible, from cleaning, serving your drinks and breakfast to organizing all activities at a good price. So you don't need to worry if you have nothing planned. They will help you with everything, you just have to enjoy your vacation. The place is very clean and comfortable, beautiful decorated where you can sleep well at night. Suitable for couples but also families. Easy to get there by car or by bus, very close to city center, restaurants, market, gift shops, bus station. The view on the terrace is quite unique, very nice decorated with pillows and rugs so you can take amazing photos at sunrise with the balloons or at night with the city lights. You can have a few drinks and enjoy the view (they have on the menu tea, coffee, juice and a variety of alcoholic beverages). It was an unforgettable holiday experience! I highly recommend them from the bottom of my heart! Thank you Dolumay, Funda and Suleman for making our stay in Goreme a...
Read moreIf you are like us who had a car, this place is a great place to stay in Goreme. They had parking spaces right outside the hotel that's situated at the base of Goreme. Whilst some hotels have a prime view up top, the catch is that you'll need to drive up very narrow roads. This hotel has a couple great terraces without the climb. It was 5 mins walking into the center of Goreme.
Baris at the reception was really chilled and friendly. His English was great too which not always the case even at bigger hotels. Tours were recommended but not pressured.
The cave room has air conditioning so we didn't experience the dampness as some commented in other hotels. It was really cosy with an eclectic choice of decoration. The one thing that could have improved was the cleaniness as it was dusty in some areas. When people came into their room next door, it was quite loud in the hallway going into their rooms but I suppose they weren't made aware that people could be sleeping at 1am.
The buffet style breakfast was served upstairs with a wide variety of Turkish mezes, gozleme, pastries, cookies, salad, fruit, jams, deli meats and cheeses.
All-in-all it was a comfortable style within a decent...
