It's a lovely resort hotel right in the city and such a good place but the service is abysmal. We had 2 days in Capadoccia. Both started off terrible only because of the lack of service and interest of the people at reception - who don't speak English properly.
The evening we arrived the gentleman at the front desk was lovely. Well spoken and helped carry our bags up the stairs to our cabin. Despite having people around, he looked like he was holding down the fort by himself.
The next day we had a 6am pick up for our sunrise balloon ride. We called the reception to say we were expecting a pick up, and they told us to stay in the room and that we would be called and informed when the pick up arrived. 30 minutes later, when no call came we went to the reception only to find there was no one there! Once we got hold of someone, they managed to call our tour operator about the situation. 10 minutes later our shuttle bus arrived and all the guests were abusing us for making them wait 20 minutes!!! The shuttle guys didn't have our number and our hotel guys did not call us as promised.
The second day we had a 6:30am pick up to go to the airport. To our horror, not only did no one from reception pick up our calls when we needed help with the bags, but they also were no where around to help our driver get in touch with us. The shuttle left us in the time we took to get down the stairs. We spent the next hour trying to secure a private taxi to the airport to catch our domestic flight and subsequent international flight.
To add insult to injury there was no sign of remorse or apology from the reception guy. Another point to note, they offer "free water and tea/coffee" in the room. But the water given per day is a glass size portion (less than 500ml). Not enough to drink water let alone make tea. When asking for more water the reception sent the restaurant staff to attend to us as they didn't want to walk up to our cabin and didn't speak much English. They also made us sign the tab to charge...

Must live that kind of experience in your lifetime at least once. 🌟🥰
You can feel the history, live the history + luxury!
• Staffs are also helpfull and kind. They always helped us whenever we asked for a drive to the centre. (Which is not that much away, but of course with baggage or if you dont know where you are going, local people’s helps are so important. )
• The room! It has everything you wish for. A jacuzzi ( rounded shape 😍) , also turkish hamam (suite spa)! Annnd you will love the stone bed! The pargeting are so cute.
• The view is amazing! Surrounded with many “peribacasi” ( Chimney rock). You can open the door, lay down on your bed and enjoy the view. And within walking distance you will see the horses on your right 🐎🐎🐎 Rooftop seating areas will be stunning in the season! ( while we there the sun just showed up at my b’day! ☀️)
• They have car parking area on entry. You can drive your car up to near your room. 🚘🚗
• Near to the “Goreme open air museum” which you should definitely visit.
• The restaurant was beyond expectations. 🤤 Thanks to Chef Orhan, he prepared us delicious “sac tava”. It was so much for even 2 people so the day after we asked him that if he can make us a sandwich with the rest of the meat. :) he is kind and a good chef!
• Pool 🏊♂️ ( which was not open yet when we were there )
I am sure that in the summer time, it will be hard to find a room here. I think this place totally better than the other cave houses...

I started my day with swimming and the pool was very clean and the water was warm, I also swam at night and the lighting was amazing. The breakfast was extremely delicious, clean, and organized with the amazing view. There some animals as well like chickens, rabbits, cats, and birds which all add on to my amazing stay. I loved the room I had with my group as it was located on the second floor with amazing view and organization. The plants and flowers in the hotel look very cool during the day and sends a sense of refreshments. When using the phone, the staff reply within couple seconds and address your needs with in perfect timely manners. There is not a single negative thing about this place. I highly recommend it, it has amazing rooms structures, very clean, swimming pool for adults and kids, jacuzzi, traditional Turkish seats on the roof, amazing restaurant, marvellous front yard, and very welcoming and kind staff. Me and my group went on the air balloons and the Hotel manager was able to help us connect with them with a great deal, they even sat and alarm for us and helped us to get ready on time with transportation as the air balloon took off early in the morning. Again Holiday Cave Hotel full filled my experience in Cappadocia. Thank you very much Ali Türkmen and all other staff for the...
