Motif Art Hotel is a true gem in Cappadocia—an elegant infusion of Turkish traditions, art, and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome.

The rooms are thoughtfully designed with Turkish accents and a modern twist, plus comforting touches like memory foam beds, blackout curtains, and fresh linens and towels.

For one night, we were offered an upgrade to the top-floor suite with a Jacuzzi—an incredible treat after hiking through Rose and Red Valley. We woke up to the view of hot air balloons drifting over Göreme and just above the hotel—it was pure magic.

The open buffet was great. There was something for even the pickiest eater: fresh fruits, salads, hot dishes, and desserts, served with tea, coffee, and a stunning view of the rock formations and town.

The outdoor pool looked fantastic, especially in the afternoon light, but Goreme’s temperatures dropped, so we didn’t end up using it.

The location is ideal: quiet yet central, with top-rated restaurants and artisan shops just minutes away. Parking was easy, and the WiFi was fast.

The hotel is a few steps from Goreme downtown. It is a brand-new building, super clean and cozy, with all you need to relax and enjoy your holiday. The breakfast is based on fresh food, including local Turkish delicacies often made on the fly as soon as they run out. We stayed in the junior suite room, which was spacious with a huge bathroom and an amazingly comfy bed. Outside, there is a pool which helped us unwind after a long day of exploring Cappadocia. At the top, there's a terrace to chill or watch air balloons flying early in the morning. What was over the top for me was the service. The staff were incredibly kind and supportive, willing to answer all our questions and make us feel at home. If unsure about your schedule in Cappadocia, I strongly suggest asking their advice as they have the patience and the expertise to point you to the right experience you're looking for, making sure you're getting the best deal. We arrived in the evening at Motif Art Cappadocia, and everything was perfectly prepared for our stay. The hotel is new and beautifully designed. We booked the suite with a jacuzzi – it had a large terrace, ideal for spending a whole day sunbathing on the loungers or relaxing in the jacuzzi. The room itself was very spacious and spotless, with bathrobes and extra towels provided for the jacuzzi.

Breakfast was delicious, and the view from the terrace where it’s served is simply breathtaking. All the staff were kind and welcoming. On our first morning, the hotel manager (I believe) even joined us at the table and kindly showed us on a map what to visit, which attractions are a must, and recommended some amazing restaurants – all of his tips were spot on.
