Hotels offer varying degrees of opulence and service but what you are really looking for (other than the basics) is a hotel that enhances your experience of the city or area you are exploring. This hotel is it.||We were visiting Cappadocia for the first time and had a vague idea of what we wanted to see and do. It felt like Osman (the owner who you will meet if you stay here) made it his personal mission, every day, to ensure that we were getting the most out of our holiday. He arranged the right trips for us having listened to our likes and dislikes, he personally drove us to drop off points so we could experience the hiking that we love and he messaged us at 9.30 at night (long after he had gone home) to tell us the hot air balloons would be flying in the morning if we wanted to get up early and see them.||The tours he booked for us were cheaper than if we had pre-booked before we left home and were of excellent quality as he would certainly not send you with a tour operator he was not happy with. Having come here from 4 days in Istanbul you are very wary of being taken advantage of but you very quickly understand and appreciate the hospitality and pride the staff take in their hotel and so you trust them implicitly.||Breakfast was a buffet on the terrace with the most amazing views. All hotel staff were incredibly friendly. We had a cave room which was MASSIVE and was very tastefully decorated. A king sized double bed each and excellent air con made sure we had excellent sleep each night.||Well positioned for a short walk into town and the multitude of bars and restaurants but just enough out of the way to be peaceful. It's in an elevated position but not at the top of a massive hill like some of the hotels we saw which must take all your energy just to walk into town and back.||One last thing. Osman can speak English, French and Russian fluently (witnessed first hand!), a little Chinese and probably other languages. Without him our experience of Cappadocia would without a doubt have been less...

After spending only two nights at the Vineyard Cave Hotel, I wish we would have spent more time here. All the locals we’ve met in Cappadocia have been friendly, helpful and welcoming and the entire staff at the Vineyard are no exception. When we originally booked our trip, we were a bit concerned about being allowed entry to Turkey as the travel ban for Americans had just been enacted. I contacted Osman at the hotel and he put me in contact with an American guest who was able to put my mind at ease. In addition, Osman sent us some helpful information and booked us a balloon ride and is also very responsive on WhatsApp. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Osman and were lucky enough to check-in early which was really nice after an early morning flight. He gave us a map of Cappadocia and explained all our travel options for our short trip. We were most excited about our flight the next day and were worried when he gave us the bad news that the flights would most likely be cancelled the next day (when we we were scheduled) but there may be flights that afternoon. He called around to all the top balloon companies and got us on a flight an hour later. It was an amazing experience and really made our trip!
In regards to the actual room, we were blown away. We’ve stayed at places around the world from 1-star hostels to 5-star resorts and the Vineyard was one of the best value-for-money places we’ve been. First of all, the cave-style hotel room is super cool and unique. In addition, the suite was quite large, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing, with an open shower (in addition to a shower/spa-tub combo) split by traditional archways. We came in the middle of winter and the heating kept the room nice and toasty our entire trip.
We also had dinner one night. It was a really nice meal and was reasonably priced. If you decide to eat here, I recommend ordering the fish.
Overall, we couldn’t have been happier with the Vineyard Cave Hotel. I can’t wait to come back for a...

My wife and me have spent an excellent five days here as part of our honeymoon. On arrival we have found a very clean room with fresh sheets and towels etc. The room also had slippers, shampoo conditioner, shower gel etc. After that we talked to the manager Osman who is very friendly, also great sense of humor, speaks excellent english and some other languages. He gave us plenty of options to think about what to visit, with different prices like car rental, guided tours private tour guides etc. He also helped and booked us airport transfer(even for arrival), and even helped with booking organized tours for us. During You stay You will be able to have a breakfast there, which is included in the price. They serve many different kinds of seeds, cheese, breads, fruits, sweet and salty creams like humus or nutella, or You may have eggs the way You like. The staff brings You coffee, water, orange juice(freshly squized!), tea on demand during breakfast and even during the day, free of charge. There is room cleaning every day if You need also fresh towels, and they also refresh Your fridge with some bottled water and fruit juice. The staff is very kind, they are super polite and are actively seeking out if You need something. The view from the hotels balcony is nothing short of artistic, if You get up early enough You can even see the hot air balloons taking off and make beautiful pictures. I could go on and on but the point is, I cant recommend this place enough, if I will have the chance to go back to cappadocia, I wouldn't look further for accomodoation, just this place....
