Where do I start! I went there with my ow fiancè. The hotel is a very small hotel with seven rooms so the atmosphere is peaceful and very comfortable. The view in the morning if you wake up early enough to see the balloons ( I strongly recommend you do. You can even let Arjan know and he will come knock on your door after he gets confirmation from the balloon pilots) is simply out of this world with the balloon literally flying over your head so close you can see and speak to the people inside. Also your top floor balcony view is not blocked by any other hotels you can clear clear view of everything. The view at night is just breathtaking with the sky full of stars and the lights of the city tells a story.
I was fortunate enough to make friends with Hasan, Usman and Arjan. The hotel is family run. Hasan is the owner, well travelled and full of prospective about life I really enjoyed having chats with him. Usman runs the place during the day. He's so helpful and accomodating anything you need he can organise for you. And what can I say about Arjan. He is there during the night after around 8:30 literally one of the nicest guys I have had the pleasure of meeting. He kept going out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. Also he's an amazing photographer if you need any photos taken.
The room was the perfect size and decorated beautifully. Everything you might need is there from toiletries, hair dryer, Air conditioning and the bed is really comfortable.
Overall value for money is 100/10, location and the view are as good as you can get and the staff are just phenomenal
Thank you again guys for making our stay and our special holiday...
Read moreWe've never stayed at a cave hotel in the past so we didn't know what to expect.||This is a family-run hotel and Hasan and his family were so gracious and welcoming that we couldn't have asked for anything better. Upon arrival, Hasan showed us to the top rooftop deck to orient us on the layout of Goreme and to suggest a few short hikes that we could still fit in with the remaining daylight. ||He also anticipated poor weather for our planned balloon flight and had already booked a backup flight for the following morning. Indeed, our original flight was cancelled (the government actually decides if it's safe to fly) so we were able to fly the following day.||Additionally, Hasan booked a private tour ("highlights tour") which was excellent! Erhan was an excellent guide with a great command of English and read the interest level of our group accordingly so he didn't keep talking when we just wanted to explore on our own. ||The breakfast was also excellent -- a traditional Turkish spread of olives, bread, cheese, cucumbers and a few "American backup options" of omelets made to order and breakfast cereal. ||The cave experience is a bit rustic -- so that's something that some might not love. The rooms were dim, the ceiling is low, and I hit my head on the doorways a few times (my own fault, obviously, it is a cave after all). You're not going to get marble bathrooms and glorious daylight with panorama views. ||We were there in March so we can't comment on the pool. The road to the hotel was under construction so it sometimes required a detour to get there -- all of that was temporary and not the fault of...
Read moreFrom the very beginning, the communication with the hotel was exceptional. Over the past few months, every email was answered promptly, thoroughly, and with genuine warmth, which made planning our trip stress-free and exciting.
The accommodations themselves were truly special—staying in a beautifully designed cave room was a unique and comfortable experience. Each terrace on the property offered breathtaking views of the Cappadocian landscape, perfect for relaxing or watching the balloons rise at sunrise. The hotel's charm was only enhanced by the warm hospitality of the staff, who made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Breakfast was a highlight—an abundant spread of delicious options showcasing local flavors and fresh ingredients. There was something for everyone, and it was clear a lot of care went into the variety and quality.
The hotel went above and beyond to arrange everything we needed: a magical hot air balloon ride, seamless airport transfers, excellent restaurant recommendations, and, most memorably, a private tour of the region. Our guide, Birol, was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the history, culture, and geography of Cappadocia. He introduced us to hidden gems and local insights that we would never have discovered on our own, and thanks to him, we left with a much deeper appreciation—and love—for the region.
We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. This hotel is more than just a place to sleep—it’s an experience we’ll always treasure. Thank you to Osman and everyone who made our stay so memorable...
