Code didn’t work, waited in the cold for 20 mins. Rooms are so small you can’t even open your luggage. Dirty mugs and coffee machine, no real hangers (cardboard), crumbs on the floor and stains on the walls. Broken staircase beams just left out exposed, Wi-Fi does not work, no real human sized mirrors just two skinny tiny ones. The hand soap was so watered down that it didn’t even lather. Two stars for the fact that I didn’t feel unsafe, and the location was alright. Overall I would not stay here again and was so stressed by the small size without much light and the lack of cleanliness that I wanted to switch hotels the first night, but decided to rough it out for a couple days. Switching somewhere far nicer for the price. You’re better off paying a little more for the right standard or at least finding a nicer end hostel if you’d like to save money. This was a complete waste of mine.

Great place in a quiet neighborhood. 40 min walk to the eye. Only 2 blocks (3 min walk)from Victoria Station (Bus, Subway). Clean, nice, and comfortable room. Reasonable price compared to other places in London. Positive aspects: Electric plugs and USB ports on both sides of the bed. Place to hang clothes. We were able to check in at 2 a.m. with a code provided (no problems). The only negative aspect (this is minor) was a small green light on the ceiling... I assume this is a night light (you can see in the middle of the night) but I (and many people) like complete darkness when sleeping. It would not be so bright if this light was near the floor. Everything else was great. I highly recommend.

Spent five nights here and can't recomend. All in all a very disappointing experience, especially considering the price. Positive: + Quiet part of London + No actual check in required, just enter via code provided by Hotel + Only a few minutes walking from Victoria Station and Buckingham Palace Negative: - You can hear everyone coming in or out - Not at all clean (gross toilet and shower, dirty walls, etc.) - Rooms only get cleaned upon request - Warm water in shower smells very strange - Very bright and annoying green light in the room - Seems to be very cheap and flimsy IKEA furniture. - "Door" to the bathroom is improvised with a closet door - Toilet seat / lid broken

Overall a good experience. As noted in a lot of the reviews, the rooms are quite small, but we honestly didn’t mind because we were out doing stuff the whole time so we only slept and showered there. It’s a self checkin similar to an Airbnb but Kevin reached out the day before checkin through WhatsApp to confirm everything and get us ready for checkin the next day.

Most of the bad reviews are things I was already aware of before we booked the place so not sure if people weren’t paying attention or just weren’t prepared for a trip abroad (self checkin, lack of internet/data on their smartphones, size of rooms, etc.), but we got our international roaming taken care of beforehand which made checkin a breeze.

Room has air conditioning which is nice because most of London doesn’t. You also have the option to keep the window open as well. Shower was hot, towel rack was heated, coffee maker and electric kettle included, but only water source is the bathroom sink. I’d recommend to the owners to supply each room with a couple of bottles of water. The hangers are now wooden, not cardboard as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Our tv remote was iffy, worked when it wanted to, but could be worse (it’s a 2 star hotel). The toilet paper holder was still broken as mentioned in a previous review and there aren’t a ton of horizontal surfaces to set things down on. Size of rooms can make it hard for two people to go through their luggage as well. Bed is VERY comfortable. You might hear other guests coming and going, but not enough to where I lost any sleep. If you’re American, you have to remember these buildings are older than our entire country so be open minded.

Overall, great trip, great location with easy access to restaurants, shops, underground stations, very walkable neighborhood, etc. Friendly staff that’s easy to reach by phone or WhatsApp. Biggest improvement I wanted to see was complimentary bottle water, but you know, first world problems. Would book...

I just want to say how horrible this hotel is. Avoid at all cost. Not only do they not have a front desk or receptionist… they are incompetent in what they do as hotel…. Should be considered a motel 1 star at this point. I had to wait over an hour to be let in the building because it was past 6pm. After that i see the room for the first time, and it’s literally a shoe box of a room. I had requested a classic room shown in the images they provided with windows, etc… you could barely take two steps, I refused to stay in this place and the people who run this “hotel” are basically scammers. I told them time after time I will not be staying at this “hotel” because it was not the experience they had promised and the lady told me there was nothing she can do. In order to make my stay better was to knock on someone’s door and see if I can switch rooms with them. What kind of establishment is that?! All I asked is for my $620 for two nights back. I had to find another hotel because of this because I REFUSED to stay in a shoebox room.||Beware of this hotel. You will wait outside for a long time, there’s no lifts- so if you have a lot of luggage beware you might fall down the stairs, and lastly they rob you of your money. Never has this happened to me in my life. Usually customer service at hotels are understanding but this place is nothing of the sorts.||They did not bother to check in and see if I was still staying at the room they just charged my card and took my money.||This would’ve been resolved if they issued a refund and were considerate over their customers needs. This was room was not as promised. I wasted a day of my travel because of this that I will not be getting back.||The image will show the room I was promised & the other image will show the room I got.||I tried to contact the hotel and request a refund and they have...
