Bouncer was a miserable person. Wife and I were bar crawling on a Sunday, and this kid is not the person you want trying to welcome people into an empty bar.

Asked for IDs, no problem, but basically treated us like we werent welcome. It was obvious he didnt want to be there and hated his job, using it as his little ego stroke position. I know being young and ignorant can sometimes go hand and hand - but the bar manager needs to be spoken to by the bar OWNERS for having door coverage by someone who is projecting this type of image for your business.

Folks who are in their 40’s have money to spend - the 20 year olds are the ones who are pinching pennies. No problem, we happily gave money to your competitors instead.

Do I love this bar? That's a tough question. I definitely go here often enough that it would seem that way. I have my issues with it, sure. The open mic comedy on Wednesdays? Radioactively bad. Truly insufferable. But the bartenders are great, I like when the patio gets nice and crowded, and it's a really solid bar to watch sports! But without a doubt, the greatest strength of this bar is the food truck. It's one of the best kept secrets in Austin. Not only do they frequently have great food deals, but their wings are phenomenal, and only $1 on wednesdays! Their burger deal on Thursdays is also a steal and the quality is surprisingly good. I've gone here for a number of school events, always a good time. Prices are in line with the area generally speaking. Lots of people go here and they have like two bars so you won't be thirsty. Well maybe thirsty for undergrads of that's your thing. I mean they can't hold a conversation unless they're in business school and even then it's just the marketing ones. Finance and accounting are probably at home studying for some exam nobody will care about in a year.

Anyway this is a cool place. They have a rubber duck machine I would encourage you to go to and collect a duck.
