Avoid this gym. Good classes, poor management / shady practices.
Was told when you purchase a month you get just one month. Bought a month twice, and it cancelled at the end each time. Then I renewed on their app, it auto-enrolled me in a plan with no notice of renewal or option to cancel.
When I pointed this out to the manager, Sony, saying it was clearly not the intention, I was told basically "sorry but that's just how it works. Other companies in Texas use this deceptive practice, so we do too, and no refunds if you didn't give 5 days notice... for the plan you were unaware of."
Clearly there is always some way to refund customers in the case of an accidental purchase, but they'd rather prioritize having the funds than keeping customers happy. Would've been a recurring client, now will avoid this gym and tell others to do the same. Find a gym that values their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTLDR: Great strength studio class. Happy to be a member. Looking forward to my next session! It was a hot mess with the presale stuff but the local studio staff is great and the classes are unique vs all the other cardio/HIIT studios in Austin. UPDATE: Attended my first class here. Friendly front desk/instructors, modern equipment, small class size. perfect for novices or seasoned lifters. Same as others on here. I paid for membership 5 months ago in Oct. I was told the studio would open before end of year. It's too late to refund on credit card. Studio and support email is unresponsive. To add insult- They emailed me in Jan to invite me to a class at their HIIT studio. When I showed up, they denied me entrance saying strength members don't get access. Claimed it was a email mixup and blamed problems with...

I was sold a pre membership in December and Iāve been emailing, calling, and dmāing the studio with zero response.
Studio was set to open mid January. I can understand and even appreciate that doing construction/renovations often comes with delays, but the lack of communication and transparency deteriorates my trust and respect for Nike.
The studio was calling and texting me non stop when I showed interest in the studio and as soon as they charged my credit card, theyāve become unreachable.
There are so many boutique studios in Austin who are committed to building and nourishing the fitness community that I would highly recommend giving them a shot before a corporate...
