Bar Mischief — Restaurant in Austin

How the mighty have fallen. This used to be my favorite bar in all of Austin, so much so that I'd make the trek down from Cedar Park to go here on a weekly basis. But now, Mischief is barely worth the thought. Inn Cahoots management screwed over the bar manager for their whole empire and everything came crashing down after he left. The drinks became undrinkable, the atmosphere changed to just another garbage bar on E 6th, everything that made this place work was gone. Was skeptical about this place because the hotel/bar names scream kitschy Instagram trap, but I am happy to admit, I was wrong.

The service was impeccable. The drinks were delicious. Bartenders incredibly friendly.

I would gladly drink here again.

Great little bad right off 6th St that is attached to a motel that hosts for AirBnB. As soon as you walk in you are wrapped in the ambiance - a full bar, stunning chandeliers, and a couch with neon letters overhead, and hip hop music. Head there for happy hour and get a Texas Two-Step or $2 off cocktails or wine by the glass. I also had the King Cole cocktail and it was the perfect balance of spirit-forward and smoothness.
