I'm not one to write reviews generally but this one really needs to be shared. I work nearby and have been to this place a few times. It's never been great but after this most recent trip, I don't think I'll be back.
I walked in right at 12:30 - the middle of lunch hour. There was no one to take my order at the counter but after a minute or two someone behind the counter shouted "online orders only". Ok, so I pulled out my phone and joined a few others who were waiting for their pickup orders who had presumably been told the same thing.
Then, not five minutes later a lady walks in who seems to know some of the people in the back and no questions asked, in front of all of us waiting for our orders, an employee starts taking her order and making her food at the counter the traditional way - cutting right in front of all of us.
Pretty bad, right? It gets better. About 12-15 of us are waiting on our orders from the side counter where they prepare the online orders. They have just one girl working here whose gloves are completely filthy, stops to check her phone constantly (while still wearing the gloves), scratches her head (while still wearing the gloves), and proceeds to touch people's food, all while moving at the speed of a slug.
Meanwhile there are 5 or 6 finished orders just sitting there getting cold waiting to be bagged. One lady complained that her pickup order is 15 minutes late, and she just gets barked at by another employee about how busy they are. I finally got my food about 10 minutes after it was due - I honestly felt bad as there were a couple people who were there before me who had still not gotten theirs.
I walked back to the office with the food considering whether I wanted to risk food poisoning eating it considering how it was prepared, but I had the decision made for me when I discovered that the lid was not put on right and it dumped all over the place in the bag. $10 down the toilet.
Worst restaurant pickup...
Read moreI know it may sound repetitive to say how I never make complaints but it's the truth. My co workers and I ordered online and then walked to the Baltimore md 300 West Pratt street location to pick up our lunch. After a certain time the option to pick up doesn't allow you to opt the time we wanted to pick up. Anyways we walked there only to stand behind 1 person that had ordered of line, when the guy making orders got to my order because it said 1:30 he acknowledge that my order was in but because it was before 1:30 he walks away to do something else..... BUT THERE WAS NOONE ELSE THAT NEEDED AN ORDER MADE BUT US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Confused I asked the cashier was there a wait on online orders, he asked the guy and he says yes but again why? When there was no one else but us!!!?????!!! Then he says "oh they ordered online at 1:30 and they came early". I'm sure he needed glasses too because he couldn't have got any more close to that screen to read my name but he never made our orders.
So for all of that my co workers and I still ended up just standing in line to order our food. The girl making food was extremely rude, my co worker ordered steak tacos, she didn't like the way she just threw the steak in the taco, so she asked her to fix it and the server gave her attitude.
It was my co workers very first experience at chipotle and she said she will never go back to another chipotle. Her tacos were iced cold when we got back to our job. This is the first chipotle I've been to, and I will never visit it again.
I hope a professional manager sees this and under stands. I'm pretty sure they get slammed with a lot of ppl, so I feel the service is so unacceptable!!!!!!! It's really a joke for this to be the best chipotle,...
Read moreExtremely disappointed. Walked in and was put off by how dirty the space was. Tables and floors were both filthy. There were 5 of your staff behind the window yet I was greeted by not one person. After standing for a few minutes listening to the conversation of the 3 people cleaning in the back, one of them asked another young lady who was on take out orders to help me. She then greeted me and asked for my order with a smile. She was pleasant throughout ( only reason I gave 2 stars for service). Was told you were out of guacamole initially, then another person went to get some from the back and out of chips. I stood and waited for some time without anyone attempting to assist her with cashing out my order. She had two more people behind me she was assisting so she was occupied. I had to ask who could help her and close me out so I could leave. She then promoted one of them, who went and got a card from someone on break. He still didn't even close me out, just swiped the card and went back to cleaning. The entire time all you could hear was the staff in the back and their unprofessional, vulgar conversation/ banter. Haven't had Chipotle in over a year. This so the closest to my home. Definitely not planning on going back. Burrito was not good, rice bland and crunchy,...
