Ron Jon Surf Shop — Local services in Clearwater

I love Ron Jon! This is a great store in a great location, just a walk from the beach. My mother in law, Aunt, and myself took a beach weekend this past weekend and made it a point to stop here. There are two different stores right next to each other, a ladies store then a men's (and children's) store. We went into both stores where the employees in both stores were super helpful in helping me to find what I was looking for in both stores. Unfortunately when I got home and washed the shirts and rashguard I got, there happened to have been something on the inside of one of the shirts that had ruined the one shirt (appeared to be a size sticker from the looks of the mark). I was so bummed because I really liked the shirt and wasn't even going to be able to wear it. I contacted the store just to let them know, not expecting anything to be done as the shirt had been washed. I was completely amazed at this stores customer service!!! I was contacted back immediately by the Assistant Manager Kayla, who apologized for this happening, and replaced my shirt. I loved Ron Jon before, and I love Ron Jon even more now! I LOVE Ron Jon and the merchandise they sell. However I’m used to the Cocoa Beach store. This store is a fraction of the size and incredibly small. I was very confused trying to find certain items only to find they have separated their store in to two different stores. I’m not sure if this was a theft management strategy? But as a mom of 3 littles my kids were exhausted from shopping after one store that I wasn’t able to go into the other store to actually purchase what we were there for. When we went in the smaller store for women and kids, staff was there within five steps anyway you went. It was very congested and crowded making it unpleasant to shop, and hard to actually move my crew around the store. They do have changing rooms, a water fountain, and bathrooms which is nice. Visited this store while on vacation a while back and bought a bunch of items. I liked alot of what they had so I ended up returning to the store the next day to pick up even more things. As I was looking around i overheard what seemed to be the store managers talking about me and how I was there the before day and I was probably back because I was going to try and steal (you might want to work on your whispering skills). They then followed me and my wife around the store and made me feel super uncomfortable so we left.
